"I'm sure everything's okay."

"What if it's not?"

"We can get through anything, baby.  The two years we've been together, life has hit us with some pretty tough shit.  But look at us.  We've gotten through it and we're even stronger now."

Jessica nods and wipes her tears.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

Danny wraps his arm around her and they walk back.

**

"Mommy!  Look at my elephant!"

"Oh that's so cool!  Where'd you get that?"

"Sam buyed it for me!"

"Awe that's very sweet, Sam!"

"Yeah, and mommy, Sam liked a girl!" He says in his baby voice.

"Oh he did?" Jessica raises her eyebrows.

"She was cute.. I got her number." Sam smiles.

"Alright!" Danny smiles and holds his fist out.

"She was beautiful!  I have little Grayson to thank for  that.  Without this damn elephant that he wanted, I would've never seen her."

"Damn elephant!" Grayson laughs.

Jessica's eyes widen and she covers her mouth as she gasps.

"Samuel!  Look what you're teaching my baby!" Jessica reaches for him but Sam's too tall.

"Give him to me!"

Sam does what she asks and Jessica hits his arm hard before walking away from him.

Grayson laughs and says, "Damn Sam!"

"No Grayson!  We don't say that word!  It's a very very bad word and we don't say that, okay?"

"But why?"

"Because it's bad!  Promise me you won't say it again."

"Okay, mommy!" He smiles.

"Thank you!  You're such a good boy!"

"I a damn good boy!" His smile grows.

"Grayson No!"

"Hehe!  I sowy!" He covers his mouth.

**

More than halfway into the flight Grayson was sitting on Jessica's lap playing with his new stuffed animal. He was refusing to take a nap.

"What are you gonna name your new friend?" Danny asks.

"I gonna name my elephant.. Ellie!"

"Ellie the elephant? That is the best name ever!"

"Yeah! I lub it! I lub it! I lub my damn elephant!" Jessica reaches around him and covers his mouth.

"I said not to say that, Grayson!"

"Sam say it."

"Sam is a bad boy!"

"Mommy gonna give him pow pow?" Grayson tilts his head.
