Last Chapter:::(BOOK 3) Chapter 33 - One boy, a thousand feelings - 1

I'm faking glory

Lick my lips, toss my hair

And turn the smile on

And the story's brand new

But I can take it from here

I'll find my own bravado

-          Bravado, Lorde

I always hated being the one to plan an event. Everything rested on my shoulders. I would get butterflies thinking that no one would turn up, or someone I didn’t want turning would. I sat in-between my Cousin Amy’s legs as she straightened my hair. I tried to calm my butterflies.

This was officially my last night in London. I held my phone in my hand. It kept vibrating as if it was having a seizure. I had people asking me for the address again, or what they should wear, should they bring anything. I took the easy option and decided to just ignore everyone. I left my phone in my hand to vibrate. I was already running late, well late for me. My ‘party’ had started about an hour ago. From Mya, who was there, she said that people had already turned up and it was in full swing. She also said that I had a pile of presents, something I was very excited about.

“Done!” Amy said standing up. I stood up too and walked to my mirror. I fiddled with how the waves went before stepping back and taking in my jumpsuit. It was an all-black halter neck with the upper half having cut outs around the chest area. It preserved my dignity and left a little something to the imagination. The upper back of the jumpsuit was pure mesh so I couldn’t wear a bra, instead I had on tit strips (as Amy called them). I wasn’t really sure about it but Amy said that it complimented my slim figure. Well it better had, I wasn’t going to the Gym on the weekends for it not to. I slipped my feet in heels and walked to Sam’s room without stumbling.

I knocked on the door and he told me he would be down in a bit. I walked downstairs, took a few pictures and selfies with Amy before Sam and Katy came downstairs. I grinned at them snapping pictures as if they were famous.

“You look amazing!” Amy said to Katy. She did look amazing. Katy needed to take me shopping and explain where she got her clothes from.

“I know right.” Sam answered for her clearly proud of his girlfriend. How could she look so sexy and she wasn’t even wearing a bodycon dress? Katy really needed to sit me down and teach me the tricks of the trade. She was simply wearing an all-white off the shoulder skater skirt and she giving me whiplash.

“You’re not wearing heels?” Amy asked looking at the Converse on Katy’s feet. Yes, she was wearing trainers and still looked better than me and Amy combined.

Katy nodded. “This idiot made my ankle swollen. I don’t want to put any pressure on it.” Sam just grinned. From his sly grin I and Amy both knew that he hurt her ankle doing something nasty. We both made a face and didn’t question her further. Sam threw me his phone and I knew he wanted to me to snap pictures of Katy. What I loved most about Sam was the way he treated his girlfriend. He was really proud of her, and so he should be. But he didn’t flaunt her around in that annoying way boys do. He stood back and admired her himself. I loved watching him look at her.

We wrapped up the modelling session and got into Sam’s car.
