CHERYL POV:
Today is move in day at Ithaca College. Toni and I got in together. I finish hanging up the curtains and notice she's looking at one of the other collages she got into. "Toni..." she gets up and throws it away. "It's nothing." She whispers. I grab it. "Cheryl please!" She tries to stop me. "UConn?" I look at her. "Full ride." She looks down. "It's 7 hours away from you." She whispers. "You turned down a full ride to a college probably better than this with something you actually want to do?" She nods. "Toni I love you, I really do but you're not logical sometimes." I cup her cheek. "I don't want to go there." She tries to convince both of us. I just shake my head. "Toni you don't want to do law. I know that for a fact." She whispers. "I'm already here."
Toni walks into the dorm. "What's this?" She ask quietly. "You're not staying at this school. You don't want to be here. I talked to NYU their offer still stands." She shakes her head. "I can't." She whisper. "Why?" I ask slightly frustrated. "My mom killed herself. All because of that school." She confesses. "Why did you apply?" I ask quietly. "I just applied to any college I could have any possibility of getting into. I sent the same thing to every school unless told otherwise! I don't want to go there, I don't want to be reminded of my mom." She sits down on the bed holding back tears. "I'm sorry." She shakes her head. "Why? You didn't know." She whispers. "I like it here." She smiles.
TONI POV:
I wake up holding Cheryl close. "Morning." She whispers. She smiles. "We should get up." I whisper. We get ready and go get coffee. I sit down as Cheryl gets everything. "Here." Cheryl hands me my coffee. I take a sip. "Eww." I give it Cheryl. "I forgot the sugar." She gets up. I'm to tired to stop her. "No please don't, ive g-." I sigh she's already fixing it and I'm to tired to get up. "Never mind." I whisper to myself. Cheryl comes back. She gives me the coffee. "Better?" I nod. "Thank you."
