It has been two days since we have been here, and it has been absolutely glorious. I feel like this place is heaven until earlier today. Mom called Matt and I to tell us something we didn't want to hear.
A couple days ago Kade was released... Since that call I have completely shut out social media, and deleted all my posts about the Bahamas. He can't find me now hopefully- unless he has already seen them. Oh shit I am screwed. I took my flip flops off, and went inside since I got done swimming.
Everyone was still swimming in the back. I still had my patterned swim suit Anna got me on.
"What if he finds me? I should be safe right? I mean there are a whole bunch of people here to protect me. Every time a guy has made trouble with me the boys took care of them. I'm safe." I told myself. I just needed to tell my self some words of encouragement.
My phone started ringing saying I had a Facetime request from Luke. I accepted it, and waited while it connected.
Luke and Calum's faces showed up on the screen sending a smile to appear on my face.
"Hi guys," I softly spoke sitting down.
"What on earth are you wearing?" Calum asked looking so confused.
I looked down to see and realized I was in my swim suit.
"Oh I just got done swimming; its a swim suit," I chuckled.
They both responded with an 'oh'.
I started thinking about the whole Kade thing again and frowned.
"What's wrong?" Luke asked. Both of them got serious and concerned quickly.
I don't know if I should bug them with my problems.
"Oh-it's nothing," I said adding a fake smile to the end.
They looked at me suspiciously.
"She's lying," Luke said the Calum.
"Yeah she defiantly is."
"Tell us the truth," Luke said.
"Okay well.. Um- Kade is out, and I am just nervous.." I whispered playing with my bottoms string.
"Are you serious?" Luke shouted. He quickly apologized for raising his voice.
I nodded my head. "Is that why all of your tweets and stuff are gone?" Calum asked.
"Yeah.." I mumbled.
I heard a creak from the front door. I looked through the window, and saw everyone swimming. Me being my paranoid self quickly dropped to the floor.
"Madisyn are you okay?" Luke whispered.
"I think an intruder is in the house," I whispered probably looking terrified.
"Get out of there," Calum whisper shouted.
I nodded my head, and with the phone still in my hand I crawled to the patio. When I reached the stairs I slowly stood up, and looked in the bungalow and saw his familiar hair. I guess I didn't delete the tweets in time.
What more does he want from me? Does he want to punish me for making him go to jail? Was the relationship torture not enough.
"It's him," I told them through the screen.
I ran down the the water where everyone was swimming and having a good time. Well now it's going to be ruined.
"Guys Kades here!" I shouted earning all of their eyes to shoot towards me.
Matt looked at me with anger in his eyes and a clenched jaw.
"The nerve he has," Shawn said through his gritted teeth.
Before I could respond Shawn was already getting out of the water followed by Matt.
Not far behind them was Everyone else.
"Stay with her girls!" Taylor shouted. But I didn't want to.
I watched as Shawn stormed into the bungalow with his fist clutched. Matt grabbed a vase from off the table as he followed in suite.
"What the fuck do you want?" Matt shouted towards Kade.
My eyes tightly closed shut as my heart was racing out of my chest. I wanted to cry so bad at the thought of Kade being near me again. Mahogany and Anna both stood by me holding my hands as support as I was starting to shake overwhelmed.
I could already hear the yelling between everyone. Kade was yelling names directed at me while everyone else were trying to defend me. Of course only Kade would be stupid enough to follow me half way around the world.
The shouting got louder and louder, and then the sound of glass echoed through my ears.
"I will be back hold my phone Luke and Calum are on it." I told Mahogany.
They tried pulling me back, but I ignored them by yanking my arms out of their grip. When I went inside multiple words were exchanged between the boys.
"STOP!" I shouted making everyone look at me.
I stepped in between Matt and Kade with a hand on my hip.
"What are you doing here," I spat.
"To see your beautiful face again," he smirked reaching for my face before Shawn went to step forward, but I held my arm out. Alright now he is just being a smart ass.
"Get out." I growled getting angry that we were still in the same room for this long.
He took a step closer to me thinking I wouldn't notice.
"I came all this way just to see you again. Come on, don't be like that baby," he said running the back of his hand down my arm until I pulled away.
"Don't touch her," Shawn growled clenching his fist.
"But she's so fucking irresistible," Kade exaggerated.
Before I knew it I was pushed back while Shawn and Kade threw punches at each other.
"Stop!" I yelled trying to get in between before Taylor pulled me back.
I saw a fist hit Shawn; not to long Shawn punched back 10x harder.
Why was Shawn fighting him? I know what he did to me wasn't right, but couldn't Matt? Shawn is defending me.
"Matt stop them!" I shouted trying to get out of Taylor's grip.
"It's alright babe. It will be over soon," Taylor softly said while he pulled me into his chest trying to cover my view to try calming me down.
Soon enough Cameron and Matt broke them apart, and told Kade if he comes back the cops are getting called before they 'escorted' him away from the bungalows.
I let out a sigh of relief once I saw Shawn wasn't seriously hurt, but his face was still pretty messed up.
Taylor let go, and I quickly ran and gave Shawn a hug. At first he was taken back with my action, but hugged back.
"Thank you for defending me," I whispered with a weak voice looking up at him.
He took his thumb and wiped away the small tears I had on my cheeks from being scared before responding, "I always will defend you." I felt my chest get lighter as I heard the words.
"I will clean you up just meet me in the bathroom." I told him before going to grab my phone.
They were still on facetime with worried looks before they saw my face.
"Are you okay!?" They both yelled.
"I am fine. There was a fight. I am going to go I have to help out the injured. Text me." I said.
"Bye!" They both yelled.
I set my phone on the table before going into the bathroom seeing Shawn was taking the first aid kit out.
I took it from his hands, and sat it on the counter. Next I took a wash cloth, and dampened it with warm water to wash away the blood.
Quickly I sat on the counter by the sink. "Stand in front of me so I can be at your height somewhat," I told him.
He followed my order, and stood in front of me.
He wasn't badly hurt. He has a cut on his lip, a small bruise on his jawline, a cut on his forehead, a cut on his cheekbone, and a bloody nose that has now stopped bleeding.
Carefully I took the wet wash cloth, and washed away the blood surrounding his injuries. Slowly I dabbed at the cut on his cheek bone. He closed his eyes, and winced as the cloth made contact with the cut.
"Sorry." I mumbled trying to focus on cleaning his wounds.
As I cleaned him face I admired him. He has such a defined jawline with beautiful light brown eyes, and his cute lazy eye. He isn't wearing a shirt still which makes my eyes wander a couple of times to look at his defined abs. Oh and that cute little scar near his lips on his cheek is so adorable.
He truly is perfect. Everything about him is.
I can't believe he still defended me. I know he will always be there for me no matter what we are. Even after the whole Liz thing he apologized for being stupid, and not standing up for me. Now I know why he was. He said to Ian that he still loves me.
It makes since now. The way he still cares, the hugs he gives me, him holding me when I needed it, defending me..
Thinking about all of this I realize I still like him. I tried pushing all of the feelings away when I was too busy concentrating on Luke. I only did that because Luke was there for me when I needed it. Also because Shawn had Liz, but she wasn't anything to him.
I should of never been so blind to my feelings. All along it has been Shawn. I can try to get away from him, but I will always come back because I am addicted to him. Everything about him is like a drug that makes me want to come back for more. Being around him give me this feeling. Almost like a high.
I love Shawn. I will always love him. He was my first true love. Some people might think it's because I gave him my virginity, but I think it is every little things he has done for me.
He makes me feel different when I with him. Just sitting here in the same room as him makes me feel some type of way. Just the simplest things he says makes me smile.
Especially when he stood by me today. He protected me when I needed it. I know if Shawn wouldn't of defended me another one of the guys would have, but Shawn was the first one to react. He was the first one out of the water making his way to Kade. That is why Shawn is the one I love. The one I will go back to every time.
When he wrote me that letter it broke my heart, but reading the sentence he wrote 'I will always love you.' made me feel a whole lot better. Now it is my turn to tell him how I really feel since he already told me.
I am promising to myself that before this trip ends I am going to tell Shawn Mendes I have always loved him.
After adding some cream onto his cut cheekbone, I dabbed the blood off of his lips. His plump perfect pink lips.
With my hand I rubbed his cheek with my thumb while I admired his eyes more. He looked into mine like he was trying to read me. Hopefully he wasn't because he would be able to see how hard I fell for him since the beginning now that my feelings are becoming more clear.
Before I knew it we both started to lean in. I am inches away from kissing Shawn. He gently cupped my face with his right hand that now has bruises on the knuckles.
I really want to feel his lips on mine like at the hotel. When he kissed me then I could still feel all the Sparks. It felt good then, but it also felt wrong since he had Liz.
I could feel his breaths on me sending butterflies in my stomach.
"MADDIE?" Matt shouted from the outside the door.
Quickly we both pulled away acting like nothing happened. I leaned my head against the mirror behind me.
"Yeah?" I asked feeling annoyed. Why did he have to ruin everything. Ugh brothers.
"How is Shawn?" He asked from the other side of the door.
I let out a sigh, and jumped off the counter avoiding any eye contact with Shawn. I opened the door to reveal Matt waiting for an answer.
"I cleaned him up," I mumbled before walking pass him.
I sat on the couch leaning my head on the arm rest.
"Why is life so complicated?" I asked myself not looking away from the ground.
"Hey Rae we are leaving around five to go to a restaurant." Matt told me.
I nodded my head in responds not feeling like talking. That explains why everyone left our bungalow.
I dragged myself into the girl bathroom, and took a long shower. After I got out and changed into my creme pleated dress and tan wedges, I went back into the bathroom and blow dried and curled my hair. Lastly I did a wing eyeliner, mascara, a light shade of eyeshadow, and pink lipstick.
I grabbed my phone and stuck it in my pink purse. I walked into the living room, and waited till everyone was ready. We all agreed on walking to the restaurant since it will be a beautiful short trip to see more.
Once we arrived we all took a seat. I was beside Kian and Mahogany. Shawn still hasn't made eye contact with me since earlier. Did he regret almost kissing me?
Ugh.
As the night went on the more eager I got. I really want to tell someone about what almost happened. So damn bad. When we get back I will just talk to Nash, Mahogany, and Anna.
After we ate, we all walked back in the nights warmth to our bungalows. Every one came over to ours to watch a movie. I changed into my boxers and my black tank top.
Trying not to draw any attention to myself I went out back to the couches. I texted Nash, Mahogany, and Anna to meet me outside where the couches are we can talk. A couple minutes later they all were here.
"Why did you need us?" Nash asked me while they all say down.
"I need to tell you guys something, but you have to promise not to tell anyone this okay?" I stated looking around. They nodded their heads for me to go on. "While I was cleaning up Shawn I realized something huge. I still really like him. I pushed my feelings aside because I was to concentrated on Luke, but I started seeing clear. I really like Shawn. Not only that, but... We maybe, almost kissed.." I said closing one eye to brace myself from Anna's scream, but she didn't thank the lords.
"Why didn't you?" Mahogany asked shocked.
"Well Matt interrupted us by knocking on the door," I awkwardly stated running the back of my neck.
"I knew it all along!" Anna shouted catching up with everything.
Nash shushed her turning back to me. "Did you tell him?" He asked.
I nodded my head 'no.'
"You need to soon," Nash advised making the girls to nod in agreement. I hate when he is right.
"Alright let's go back in," I told them standing up.
A/N: I updated so many times tonight to get to the parts where Madisyn is with the guys again because you guys thought they were being left out, and I didn't like that. I want you guys to be happy, so I am trying.
