Trees are swaying.
This music makes the rain outside look like a hurricane but I know if I take out my earphones all I will hear is my own heart beat and the soft pitter patter of the rain on the verandah roof.
Droplets cling to the underside of the old faded swing set.
It looks like it should feel cold but my body isn't. My skin is hot and it's summer but raining.
Why is life so unfair?
Why did anyone choose to go through this?
Those were questions I always asked myself.
I realised life is so hard because then when good things happen we appreciate it. Special things wouldn't be special if everything was special.
Just get through the hard times to get a second of bittersweet and enjoyable feelings.
Life will happen anyways so just go with it and try your best.

PoetryLife's a struggle and it's hard. There's nothing you can do. Just get trough it. I hate my life. There's nothing new. But when the sun is out and the sky is void of clouds you can't help but feel a smile is overdue
