You said to give you a day so I did.
I just want to know.
Often things with me are morbid,
I understand why you would want to go.
I should have told you this.
So you could run like everyone else.
I want your kiss,
But you only care about yourself.
I've tried to believe in love.
But I can't.
The day I decided I didn't is when my parents gave each other a little more than a shove.
It doesn't have to end like this but it can and it will because it's what everyone wants.
I begged you not to go when you turned your back to me.
You started walking
You kept going and I watched for as long as I could see.
The rain drizzles.
My tears mix.
I want to cry.
Your my twisted fix.
Please don't go I'm begging you.
I want you to teach me about love.
Teach me about it,
Tell me it's not all bad luck.
I want to be able to smile with a reason.
I want you to be the reason that's all.
My hopes draining with every season.
You won't love me but I still fall.
I fall for you knowing it's bad.
If rather have you for a second then never at all.
It's not my fault I'm hurt and sad.
By loving you I'm getting better.
I'm desperately trying to be what you want.
It's not working and I want your shelter.
I want you, not to die that's all I ever want.

PoetryLife's a struggle and it's hard. There's nothing you can do. Just get trough it. I hate my life. There's nothing new. But when the sun is out and the sky is void of clouds you can't help but feel a smile is overdue
