"THIS IS AN ADVENTURE"
Hair pushed back by the wind.
Brown ringlets floating back and forth gently lifted and levitating around my face.
White shirt.
Looking into the sun squinting I can see your silhouette standing there but not looking at me.
The sun behind you.
Concrete ground and walls.
People everywhere.
Flicking your blond fringe to the side.
Black jeans.
Everything in slow motion.
Everyone calmly floating in each second like it's worth a year.
I blink and the outline of your figure is burning into my brain.
As my eye lids slightly open and all I see is blue.
The depth of your eyes or the lake in the distance.
Snow floats to the ground slowly at first, covering the green of the pines with frosty white.
Gripping your hands with my head on your shoulder.
The pace picks up and it feels like we're spinning.
The snow falls faster and I'm stuck in a time lapse.
The grass isn't green anymore but your eyes are still the bluest.
Running to the lake.
Brown jackets flapping in the wind behind us.
Leather high tops crunching in the snow.
Over the rocky cliff tops getting closer to the edge.
Cold hands holding each others.
Snow peaked mountains and white forest cascading into a perfect sapphire blue lake.
The wind cutting through my clothes as I run.
Smiling.
My muscles aching the same as my heart.
We jump.
Everything slows down and every second we gradually get lower to the water.
I look up to the cloudy sky and over to your red cheeks.
Closest we will get to flying.
It's like I'm seeing things from some one else's eyes.
My feet hit the icy water first; the leather high tops melting away.
As the water swallows the rest of my body my black skinny jeans unravel and disappear.
Your brown jacket flying off your shoulders and into the sky moulding into an eagle.
My head below the water with my eyes closed.
The temperature rises and I float upwards still holding your hand.
I look up through the bubbles that morf in and out if being stars in the night sky.
My vision changes and you squeeze my hand before I feel your slip through mine like sand.
I panic and kick my legs up into the starts that change back into bubble floating just below the surface of the water.
The sun is brighter.
I reach the surface and wipe my eyes and look around.
The mountains are skyscrapers.
Forests now winding tar streets.
The lake now a beach.
The rocky cliff now orange round rocks by the shore where people lay on towels basking in the sun.
The clothes I wore, now a swimsuit.
I spin in the water looking for you. And when I look back up onto the rocks your standing there smiling at me.
Your older.
By a few years.
When you pull me out of the water you hug me.
The salt water cascading down my face dripping onto your shoulder. I feel myself falling backwards and then floating up. Your still holding me but now your letting go and just holding my hand.
I blink and the beach is gone.
Only both of us floating on our backs in space.
Stars in clusters around us.
We float with the other outcasts, the ones who also give others light during the dark.
We both burn ourselves to give eachother light.
Holding your hand and looking into your eyes would be so much more amazing than looking at every galaxy ever.
You gently pull me closer brushing my hair back; kissing my nose whispering that you love me and how loving me is an adventure.

Just a dream Xx
