Falling Out Of Love (Chandler)

"She's so cool and pretty. She's so smart and funny. We were up all night talking about- what?"

Rachel looked over at him with an astonished face. "Chandler, you have a girlfriend."

Monica looked over at Ross who made eye contact back with her, Phoebe sitting quietly in her seat across from the others.

"Uh, yeah. I was talking about her."

Rachel looked to the side.

"Chandler, if you don't love her but love someone else, you need to tell her so you can end it before the feelings for Kathy get more serious." Monica told him.

He sighed. "I know, but I don't want to lose her. I feel like I've wanted just her all my life but now I'm conflicted."

"Honey, just tell her. If it's meant to be, you two will end up together again but it's not fair to her for you to keep this sort of a secret from her." Rachel commented.

Chandler nodded with a sigh.

"Alright, I'll tell her."

"Hey," Chandler said as he opened the door to see you standing there. "It might be best if we talk in here rather than out there."

You nodded. "Alright."

The two of you walked inside his shared apartment, going and sitting on the couch together. Chandler looked towards the floor before making a nervous sigh and beginning to speak.

"____, I have to admit that I will always care for you no matter what goes on in our life time. No matter what comes our way, I want everything to be perfect for you. Which means, I have to tell you things."

"Chandler?" You questioned softly.

"I'm in love with someone else, ____."

You stared at him for a minute before looking down at your hands that were now pressed against your thigh.

"Who?"

Chandler looked towards Joey's door. "Kathy."

You nodded, standing up, and walked towards his door where you shut it softly behind you. He let out a deep sigh, trying to breathe normally again.

It only seemed like you had taken what he had told you well, but it was in fact the opposite.

"Hey, ___." Ross said as you stood outside of Chandler's apartment, staring up at the ceiling.

"Did you know about this?"

"Know about what?" He questioned.

"That Chandler was going to break up with me?" You asked him.

Your watery eyes met his as he immediately opened Monica's apartment door and let you inside.

"Did any one of you know this?"

Everyone turned to face you.

"What?" Phoebe asked, Monica shutting the open window near her.

"Did any one of you know that Chandler was going to break up with me."

Rachel shyly stood up.

"Listen, honey, it's just going to be for a little while. Maybe you weren't meant to be with Chandler."

You shook your head, letting the tears run down your cheeks. "He left me, Rachel. For someone I could never be."

Rachel shook her head, the rest of the gang joining in. "No, honey, he didn't leave you for that. He's just, going through something."

You shook your head. "I don't think that's it. I was never the one for him, he never really wanted me."

"That's not it at all-"

"If that's not it, then he wouldn't of fallen in love with someone else, Monica!" You exclaimed, pushing yourself into Rachel's arms as she held onto you.

"Everything will be okay, ____. Just give it some time."
