"Monica, who's that girl over there?" Phoebe asked as she sat down on the couch beside her. Monica turned her head to see a pretty girl, with _____ hair, and ___ eyes sitting with a cup of coffee at the counter.

Her eyes were focused on a pad in front of her as her carefully painted nails trailed along words on the paper.

"I'm not sure. I've never seen her before."

Ross sat down with a blue cup in hand as he looked over at the two of them, questioning who they were talking about.

"Who are you guys talking about?"

"That girl over there." Monica nudged her head back to make a subtle sign towards you sitting at the counter.

"Oh, her? She works at Chandler's office I'm pretty sure. She's French." Ross told them as he sat back in the chair, drinking his coffee.

Phoebe smiled. "You know, I speak a little French myself. Maybe I could go up and talk to her."

Ross shrugged. "Be my guest."

Monica got up with her, walking over to where you were sitting as she tapped you on the shoulder.

"Uh, bonjour." She started, seeing your eyes brighten that someone else spoke your language as well.

Monica glanced over at the pad you had, noticing it was in English. You were trying to better your English.

"Bonjour, enfin, quelqu'un d'autre parle ma langue." You replied with a smile. Phoebe took a brief step back, confused as to what you said.

Monica stepped up, trying to ask you a question. "Are you learning English?"

You nodded. "Uh, yes. I am. I know a lot more than I did before, but my French is still my main language."

Phoebe smiled, turning around to Monica. "Let's go sit back down. I think Joey is coming over."

Monica stuck her arm out, stopping Phoebe. "We're not going to let her get sucked in with Joey, Phoebe. We can't do that to her."

"Pardon, mais y a-t-il un problème?" You asked, having to shake your head and try to speak the phrase in English. "Sorry, is there a problem?"

Monica laughed. "No, not one at all."

You nodded, shutting the pad when you noticed Chandler walking into the coffee shop. A smile lit up your face so brightly as he walked over to you, embracing you in a hold.

"So, you've already met my friends. Monica and Phoebe, this is _____." He introduced you.

"You're dating her? Damn, Chandler. Getting the French women, I see." Monica replied. Phoebe smiled but frowned slightly as she saw Joey sit down.

Rachel walked up to the counter from serving some people when she noticed her friends standing there.

"I swear, this job is the hardest thing ever- oh, hey guys." She smiled. "Who's this?"

"Bonjour, je suis ____." You told her.

Rachel kept the smile on her lips. "What?"

"Oh, sorry, uh, I'm ____. I'm French."

Rachel smiled. "Oo, my favorite company sells clothes over there! It's a beautiful place, from the photos that I've seen."

You smiled. "You should definitely visit sometime. It's a lovely country."

Chandler looked so proud of being with you, of finding someone like you to make him so happy it couldn't compare to anything else he'd felt before.

"So, you're good at speaking English?" Rachel continued the conversation.

"Yeah, somewhat. French is my main language."

"Can you say my name in French?" Rachel asked. You nodded, saying her name as she giggled.

"Just one more time."

"Rachel."

She squealed. "I love it!"

You smiled, turning back to Chandler who gave you a gentle kiss on the forehead. "Lets get going." He told you.

Nodding, you shut the pad and grabbed your jacket. "It's good to meet you guys. Je te verrai un jour ou l'autre."

"She'll see you guys around." Chandler translated.

"So, Chandler knows French now?" Rachel asked, wiping up the counters. Monica and Phoebe took a seat.

"I guess so. For his new girlfriend." Phoebe responded.

Rachel smiled. "I think it's sweet he's found someone. And a French woman? What a total score."

Phoebe laughed. "Definitely."

Joey sighed as he listened to the conversation. "Do you think I'd have a chance with Chandler's girlfriend?"

Ross looked up from reading his magazine article on the recent study of fossils. "She's dating Chandler, so no."

"No, I mean if they weren't dating."

Ross set down his coffee, closing the magazine in the process. "Do you know any French?"

"No, why? Does she speak French or something?" Joey questioned.

Ross sighed. "Joey, Chandler knew French so he hit it off with her immediately. The only way you'd have a chance with a girl like her is to be Chandler, if we're being honest here."

He sat back and grabbed his coffee and magazine once more as Joey sat in thought.

"Maybe I'll just learn a little French then."

Ross looked up.

"Don't go stealing Chandler's girlfriend, Joey. He's finally happy for once and I would hate for his best friend to ruin that."

He sat back on the couch, listening back into the conversation between Monica, Phoebe, and Rachel.

"I wonder how he got a girl like her? Where do you find someone with such a beautiful accent to go along with someone already very beautiful?" Monica questioned.

Phoebe. "I'm not a lesbian, but Carol would love to date her."

Rachel laughed, setting down her rag in a bucket below the counter.

"Well, hopefully, they spend time with us tomorrow or something so I can learn a little more about herself and French."

Joey smiled.

"Tomorrow."
