"are you sure?" he asked, seeing you nod in response as you were both standing outside on monica's balcony of her apartment. all the friends were eagerly waiting to hear if you would say yes to ross' proposal.
"really?" he asked, his excitement being shown through his speech. you looked over at him, smiling a little as you asked him a question.
"what?" you asked, sweetly.
he blushed, looking down towards the ground where you could see the streets of new york. you turned to face him, pressing a kiss to his cheek as he looked back up at you.
"why hadn't you asked me earlier? i would've said yes," you told him, gently rubbing his shoulder.
"because i thought you were just too good for me, _____."
