In the future - Kitsune! Craig Tucker × Child ! Reader

Note : I don't really know much about the Japanese culture when it comes to this sorts of things so I just got the ideas from anime ... yeah . But I hope you enjoy !

No one's pov.

Craig was bored .

He was bored to the point that he started lying on the ground ,  catching birds and crushing them till blood seeped out from his hands . He'd been doing this for a while now as he waited for something exciting to do .

'Man , I should've agreed to Clyde's invitation to cause chaos around the town ... and maybe find someone to 'play' with . '

Craig didn't mean any sort of play , he was hinting towards finding women and ... having what he would like to call 'fun' with them . But maybe he could do that some other day , after all , he didn't want to do it all alone , if so , then it would just be like hide and seek with him as the seeker and his prey being the hider .

But he still sighed as he sat up , that wouldn't be fun at all . He was currently the only one at the mountain while the rest was out there doing who knows what . Craig sat still for a moment before deciding to leave and return back to the shrine , seeing as he couldn't spot anymore birds to crush . Though he and some other follow friends of his were being worshipped as 'gods' or what not , they weren't recieving as much prayers as they usually did the past few years ...

He sighed once more , those humans are taking them for granted aren't they ? Since the harvest of crops were good , there was probably no need for them to pray anymore for rain but oh well , he wasn't in charge of the weather , Eric was . He was taking over for a friend of his as he decided to take a vacation to somehwere , till he returned he was in charge of bring wealth and prosperity to those who prayed hard enough . Sometimes it happens , sometimes it doesn't . There was two methods to show their appreciation , one , pray hard .

And two ... sacrifice someone to increase their chances to become wealthy . It was rare for someone to be sacrifice but it wasn't uncommon , it could be a guy or a women depending on the gender of the shrine god they were sacrificing to . But the lastest shrine god who recieved  a sacrifice not too long ago was none other then Kenny McCormick , the shrine god of ... nevermind .

But pushing that aside , Craig was quietly walking back when something  , or rather someone , bumped into him . He didn't fall , but he wanted to know who bumped into him .

"Ow , ow , ow . Sorry mister ! I wasn't looking where I was go-going . "

'It's a little girl ...'

Craig gave the little girl a small smile as he said it was alright amd though it was a little girl , that didn't stop Craig from eyeing her , not in a perverted way if that's what your thinking .

'She looks kinda short for a kid ... '

Craig thought as he watched her ran past him and headed elsewhere . She looked cute , he had to admit even though it made him sound kinda like a pedo . She had a nice shade of (h/c) hair and big (e/c) eyes to match . But no reason to think about that now , right now , he needs to start hurrying back as the sun was setting soon .

"It seems that I have taken quite some time to walk back to the shrine . It's getting dark ... "

He mumbled to himself as he quicken his pace . He soon reached back to the shrine and entered . He heaved a sigh of relief , thank god he reached back in time . There wasn't anything dangerous happening at night , it was just that ...

Craig hated the dark .

He wasn't a child anymore , yes , but he just didn't like staying out in the dark amd would always lit a lamp in his room when he was about to sleep at night . He would get teased about this by his friends about 'fearing' the dark , he wasn't scared of the dark ! He was just ... unaccustomed to it .
