[Soulmate AU ] Coffee date - Tweek Tweak

Tweek sighed at the red string that was tied to his pinkie , he was probably the only boy in his group of friends that hadn't found his soulmate even after entering college . He watched as couples walking in the coffee shop , that he worked at, laughing and acting all lovely dovely with each other .

He put on a smile as he took the customers orders , writing down their names on their coffee cups before making their orders . He remembered Token saying when he met his soulmate , he felt his heart racing faster then usual and feeling his face warming up . But was it true ? Hell like he knows , he never been in a relationship beside him and Craig pretending to be a gay couple for some time .

He did hear some rumors though . Apparently , someone's string could be cut off and tied back to someone's elses or just leaving it stringless but it was uncommon as only a few people could see other people's string . Those rumors was mostly the cause for his stress , what if his soulmate found someone else and decided to just decided to snip their string and tie it to someone else ?

Tweek groaned in pain , he hoped that wasn't the case . He was turning 21 soon and he didn't want to go back home again for his birthday ,with his parents nagging at him about not trying hard enough to find his soulmate . He was brought back to reality when a customer coughed to get his attention .

" *Gah!* S-Sorry there , w-what w-will you be getting today Miss ? "

"I'll just be getting a normal cup of coffee today , the name's (Y/n) "

"R-Right , I'll b-be back with your order . "

(Y/n) watched as the blonde went and prepared her order , she looked down at her pinkie with her red string tied to it before looking back at the blonde . She could see a bright red string tied to his pinkie . (Y/N) being (Y/N) , didn't really give a care about the soulmate system , which meant that she didn't realize her soulmate was right infront of her .

With this being said , (Y/n) stood there , humming , completely oblivious that her red string was connected to the twitching male . While this was happening , Tweek was done preparing her order . He was starting to drift off into his thoughts when he widened his eyes as he turned towards (Y/n) with her order . Tweek just couldn't believe his eyes , really , what were the chances of meeting your soulmate at a coffee shop that you are working at .

"Um... M-Miss ? "

"Yes ? "

"C-Could you see a red string t-tied to my pinkie ? "

"Yeah , why ? "

What were the chances ...

(Y/n) stood there in silence as she thought of ways to escape the situation she was in . So what if she could see his string , everybody else could see it too , right ? At that moment , she remembered the words her mother told her about meeting their soulmate.

'Remember (Y/N) , you will know whether or not you found your soulmate if you are able to see another red string besides yours . That will be able to tell you that you found your soulmate . '

(Y/n) took in a deep breathe before breaking the silence .

"So ... Wanna go on a coffee date perhaps ? ... "
