A few months later: Madeline's POV
"Madeline, can you come here please?" Ryuga knocked at my door.
I walked up to it. "Yes, Ryuga?"
"Madeline, I am going on a training journey, I will be back in a few weeks, but I won't be leaving till the day after tomorrow, is that ok?" Ryuga told me.
"O-ok this is new. But I hope you have a good time." I replied hugging him.
"But before I go, I am taking you on a date."
"Really?! That sounds like fun!"
"Good. Now go get ready, we leave in one hour."
"Ok!" I ran into my room and shut the door. Hmm... what should I wear? I pulled out a pretty gold dress, it was fairly casual, and it looked really cute. I did my makeup and hair.
I walked out an hour later, I went downstairs and found Ryuga, he was dressed just as normal. "Madeline, you look beautiful as always," Ryuga responded, kissing my cheek.
"Thank you! As usual, you look very handsome."
Ryuga laughed, "Well then, come on." He said, taking my hand.
We went to a park and walked around for a little. Hand in hand. "You know, I'm really going to miss you." Ryuga told me.
"I'm going to miss you, I hate it when you leave."
"I know, I'm sorry. But it'll only be for a few weeks."
We reached a cherry blossom forest. It was beautiful. We sat under the biggest tree,
"Madeline, while I am gone you will be alone for a while..." I nodded.
"Please don't be gone too long."
"I won't, but the others will also be going on a journey, it's because nemesis is planning a revival, and I need to become more powerful so I can beat him," Ryuga explained I nodded,
"I wish I could come..."
"I know, but I don't want you getting hurt."
"I know, I'll take good care of the house while you are gone," I promised,
"I know you will." He said, kissing the top of my head. Ryuga had brought some food, and we ate. Then we sat, enjoying each other's company. "I love you..." He told me, and kissed my lips lightly, making me blush faintly. "I love you too," I responded. Then we went home.
"Goodbye, Madeline, I love you, and ill try to call you every night," Ryuga told me, giving me one more hug before he left.
"I love you too, please try to call me! Goodbye."
