Ryuga's POV
I was training with Madeline at bey park, when I heard whispers, "Madeline, I'll be right back," I whispered to her, she nodded. I walked behind a bush, and sure enough, Gingka, Madoka, Kenta, Benkei, and Kyoya, were all there spying on us, "Well look who we have here." I snarled,
"Heyyyy!" Gingka said innocently,
"What are you doing spying on us?" I asked,
"We just wanted to see how good Madeline was... and we wanted to make sure she was ok and you weren't hurting her..." I laughed,
"Hurt her?! I would never hurt her!"
"Who is there Ryuga?" Madeline asked coming over to where I stood, "Oh hi guys!" She waved to Gingka and the others,
"Madeleine is Ryuga treating you ok?" Madoka asked her, I rolled my eyes,
"He is treating me very nicely, look what he gave me!" she pointed to her new headpiece, and smiled. "He said that he was going to give it to me a long time ago but never got the chance." Madeline was happy about her new present, that made me happy.
"That's cool." Kenta told her, she nodded.
"Hey Rygua, can Madeline hang out with me today? I was going to grab some food by myself but I think it would be fun if Madeline joined me." Madoka asked me,
"...Sure, but she has to be back by 5:30, I can pick her up." I responded, and turned to Madeline, "Do you want to Madeline?"
"Sure, I would like to! But why do I have to be back by 5:30?"
"Because we have plans."
"Ok."
"We are done with training for today, I hope you have learned something." I told her with a faint smile, I was different around the others. Madeline made me a better person, she made me a happier person, I don't know why... is it because I care about her? Do I care about her as a brother would care for his sister? Is that our relationship? No, that is not how I feel, I think I feel love, but what is this feeling? Everytime she smiles my stomach does flips, is that it? Is that how love feels?
Madeline went with Madoka to get lunch or something, the others went home except for Gingka,
"...So... you like her don't you!" Gingka taunted poking my arm,
"...Can it Gingka." I replied annoyed.
"Oh ohoh! So you do like her! Hehe!" (Btw I can so imagine this happening!)
"...Gingka if you don't shut your face right now I will pound it into the ground." Gingka, to my utter disappointment, just laughed,
"Ryuga you can tell! I won't tell anyone!" He pleaded,
"No."
"Please."
"Gingka you annoy the crap outa me, just leave me alone." I told him walking away.
"You're no fun Ryuga." I rolled my eyes,
"Fine Gingka, yes I do like her, she has been my only friend that I have ever had, except Kyoya, but we were only friend in our childhood. How could I not? She has caught the eye of every boy out there, and If I remember correctly she has caught your eye too, they way that you look at her, the way that everyone looks at her, I know for a fact I would never have chance with her even if I tried." I said walking off. Gingka just stood there, eyes widened, he had thought I would just have ignored him.
"...And yet you will." Gingka added, I turned to face him, a glare overwhelmed me, for the fact that his words read my thoughts. "You will try to win her, those are your plans for tonight, to try to get her to love you, because you love her deeply, though you have admitted only a little to me, I can tell. You would give even L-Drago for her safety." I didn't say anything, what he said was true, and he knew it. There was no more to be said so I left.
