Griffin?

Rubbing my eyes, sure I was seeing things, did I shake my head as to try and wake myself, to make myself aware of my surroundings. We were on a motorway, cars speeding past us, but I still saw Griffin next to me.

I was sitting in the passenger seat of his blue jeep whilst his hands were gripped on the steering wheel, with a bandana around his head. Classic Griffin.

My mind was a blur as I looked around me, I must have been asleep for a long time. Car trips did always make me tired.

"Hey, your awake!" He smiled.

Smiling softly did I nod my head.

"Hey Griff."

"You look a little confused. You good?"

"Yeah...I just...how long was I out for?"

"Not long. But the moment we got in here you practically fell asleep." He chuckled.

"Damn. What's made me so tired?"

"You tell me lazy bones."

As I looked around the car I had an uneasy feeling within me. As though I was supposed to be somewhere else, helping someone. Oh well, maybe I was hung over or something.

"Ophelia what's up? You look like you forgot something. Did you leave your bag behind again?"

"Yeah. That must be it." I shrugged.

I'm always leaving my bag behind. It's annoying because when we go on road trips we need bags.

"At least the highway isn't to busy today. Makes it quicker to get where we're going."

"Hmm what day is it today?" I asked.

"Monday."

"Gross."

"Tell me about it." He chuckled. "Is it just me or does it feel like a thursday to you?"

"Just you weirdo." I grinned.

"Thought so."

Speeding up the car a little bit did he point at the radio.

"Hey why don't your turn the radio on? Play us some music."

"Radio? But the radios don't work anymore?"
