Hansel leans on the tree and looks at the sky.

Hansel: Hey Gretel... why did we end up like this..?

Gretel: It's because of the attack 2 years ago..

Hansel: *sigh* That's right... It started 2 years ago...

A town near the mountains, lies a peaceful village.

Hansel(15 years old): Hey Gretel, hurry up..!

Gretel(15 years old): Wait Hansel... I'm tired.

Both of them are going to the village elder's house to help them manifests their magic.

Village elder: Those two are always sticking together, you got pretty good kids there, Yahiro.

Yahiro is Hansel and Gretel's father.

Yahiro: *smiles* They sure are.

Hansel first came inside of the house.

Village Elder: Ok, close your eyes. Concentrate, and feel the energy flow out of you.

Hansel did what the village elder's instructions.

Magic circles appeared in Hansel's hands.

Hansel: Alright! I got my magic.

Yahiro: That's some nice magic you got there Hansel.

Hansel: You think so dad? I wished mom could've seen it.

Village Elder: *nods* Your magic is energy purge magic.

Hansel: What's that?

Yahiro: It means that once you activated your magic into your fists, you release a large amount of energy that sends your enemies to be blown away.

Hansel: Cool!

Village Elder: But, use your magic for good and not evil.

Hansel: I will!

Hansel runs out of the house with joy.

Hansel: Look Gretel! My magic.

Hansel activated his magic so he can show it to Gretel.

Gretel: I wished I got an awesome magic like yours big brother.

Hansel: I know you will! We're twins remember *smiles*.

Gretel nodded in response.

Yahiro: Gretel. It's your turn dear.

Gretel: Okay.

After 10 minutes...

Hansel is waiting outside of the house, when he heard the village elder and his dad being surprised.

Hansel quickly ran inside of the house to see why.

When he got inside, he saw a human-sized dragon inside the house.

Hansel: what the?!

The dragon suddenly spoke.

Dragon: Don't worry Hansel. It's me, Gretel.

Village Elder: Yahiro... congratulations.... You're daughter had one of the rarest magic, Transformation Magic.

Then... Gretel was known and respected in their village, while Hansel on the other hand... is treated like a sideshow.

Gretel: C'mon big brother. Let's play with the other kids.

Hansel: Why don't you play with them, after all, you're a important mage of this village.

Gretel: Huh? Big brother..?

Hansel glanced angrily at Gretel.

Hansel(angry): Why did I even have a twin in the first place!

He suddenly bumped into his dad.

Hansel didn't replied and just ran off again.

Damn it! Damn it! Why do I have to be the weakest one!

He punched and punched the tree in the forest. All of the sudden, a group of men walks towards him.

Person 1: Hey there kid.

Hansel: Huh? Who are you?

Person 1: We're group of hikers, and just happened to wander around this area. Do you know any village nearby?

Hansel: I do, in fact I lived there.

Person 1: Is that so? Where is it?

Hansel: Over there *points at the forest*

Person 1: We appreciate your help. See you then.

Then the men head towards the direction Hansel pointed.

Hansel continued what he was doing.

4:39 pm...

Hansel lay down below a tree.

Hansel: Why am I even in this world...

He suddenly noticed a black smoke in the sky.

Hansel: What's that?

Hansel head towards the place where the black smoke is...

Hansel: hmm... this direction is pretty familiar.

When Hansel finally reached the source. He was speechless, and couldn't believe his eyes.

The source of the black smoke was in fact... their village burning down to ashes.

Gretel had tears in her eyes, just thinking about it.

Ace was actually listening to their conversation while laying down in one of the branches.
