July 23th, 7:00pm: After finally settling into our hotel, we headed off to some fancy French diner across the street. The hotel rooms, in fact, were wonderful. The two rooms we rented were side by side on the thirteenth floor. The view was wonderful from the side glass walls and the rooms were actually quite big.
The view outside was terrific as well. There were giant bright lights everywhere and the streets were quite busy. Once we walked into the restaurant however, I started smelling this horrible scent that lingered just about everywhere. The lights seemed to cause glare and made my head spin. Well this is what you get for going to a five star restaurant...
