Your eyes twitched open as you returned to consciousness. You heard muffled voices surround you. You couldn't understand what they were saying. But you felt a sudden surge of urgency when you heard the tones in their voices.

They sounded desperate and helpless. Causing you to instinctively sit up and grab your sword. But as you tried to move. You felt an agonizing pain in your lower back. Hindering you from moving, paralyzing you in pain.

You let out a cry as you fell back onto your back. Your outcry seemed to alert the people around you, causing them to call out your name in hopes you will respond.

The muffled calls around you started to become clear as you gradually started to regain your vision and hearing back.

You frantically looked around. Finally being able to see the scene playing out in front of you.

The voices you were hearing before were from three lower-rank demon slayers, hovering over your body with relieved expressions. You noticed they all were heavily injured.
