Gulf allowed Mew to help him into the house. Nila had reluctantly allowed him to leave the hospital saying that if either she or Samara were with him at the property then she didn't see why he and Alexander wouldn't heal better there in the safety of their pack. Tonya had been dragged out of the hospital by several burly policemen Nila had told him that she would have scars that even the healing abilities of the werewolves wouldn't put right but Gulf wished with all his heart that he had finished her.

She deserved more than prison where there was a chance that she might get out again. She had tried to murder her own grandson. At that thought Gulf held the baby close to his chest a shudder running through him as he pressed himself into Mew's side trying to ignore the pain that he could feel in his legs and his neck. Everywhere. All his wounds had been opened again, though not nearly as bad but he could live without the burning sensations and he knew that he was going to start taking the medication that night.

"I'm sorry. I should have been with you at the hospital, my omega. My darling." Mew breathed and Gulf shook his head slowly refusing to let his bond mate even think for a second that it was his fault. It was Tonya and her craziness that were to blame.

"It's not your fault, Mew. You came as soon as you could." He breathed as he and Alexander were picked up by the alpha and he was cradled into his body as they were carried up the many steps. Around them he could see the faces of their pack in doorways staring at them but none of them came out to speak to them for which Gulf was grateful.

"But I should have been there. I could have lost you both."

"You didn't. We're here. We're safe. We're al-alive." Gulf stumbled a little over the last word his eyes once again on Alexander's face remembering the terror he had felt when he had woken up and seen her with her hand over his little boy's face. He had never felt an anger like it, and he had acted completely on instinct. His body hadn't let him down, but he felt that he could have done more if he hadn't been in pain. "I'm going to start taking the pills tonight."

"Gulf. You're upset." Mew whispered and Gulf nodded glad that they had come to the top and Mew hadn't put him down.

"I know. But I want to take them. Support me? Please. I can't do it alone." He whispered and Mew's arms tightened around him before he whispered gently.

"I know my darling and I promise I will support you. But first I have something to show you."

Gulf found himself being carried into the room beside his and Mew's and he let out a gasp of amazement at the sight which greeted him. He had known that Mew was going to paint the nursery and he had imagined that he would use a Beatrix Potter theme given how much he had been enjoying reading the books, but this was like something out of a dream. It was as though Mew had taken a set from a live action version or something. The delicate paintings on the wall finished it all off perfectly and his breath caught as he saw the three wolves standing together with Alexander in a blue and white suit and a little straw hat.

"It's. It's beyond anything that I could have imagined. It's perfect." He breathed softly pressing his lips to his "I love it..."

"I'm glad. I think it suits our little Alexander. At least when we are ready to bring him in here there's another cot in our room for now." Mew told him and Gulf nodded crying a little bit as he was carried through another door and into their room. Mew carefully placed Gulf down on his bed and Gulf gently settled Alexander down between them before he curled up with Mew his head resting on his chest. There was so much that should probably need to be said but as of this moment all that mattered was that they were all here together. Gulf took the pills from his pocket and then licked his lips nervously for a moment knowing that it was the right thing to do but he was scared. "I love you." Mew whispered against his ear "No matter what. I'm with you my love."

" I know. I love you too." Gulf whispered and then carefully popped the pill into his mouth and swallowed it down dry. No matter what would happen they would get through it together with Alexander.

**Two Years Later**

Mew smiled happily as he looked out over the garden watching his two-year-old son running around with the other children in the pack. Alexander had grown steadily in the last two years and already nobody would be able to tell that he had been tiny when he was born. His appearance was a perfect blend of both Mew and Gulf. His eyes were the same color of warmed honey and they held a bright sparkle whenever he was playing like he was now.

The first year had been difficult with the trials and the many side effects that had come along with the mediation that Gulf had taken. There had been days when his little omega wanted nothing more than to curl into a ball and give up, but Alexander had kept him going and eventually Samara had found a combination that had worked. A year and four months after first taking them the omega ad been able to make his first pain free transformation. It had been the start of many changes and much happiness.

Their pack continued to grow with both Nila and Joss pregnant, after Toptap's successful awakening to Beta wolf he had calmed his mate immediately and Joss was due to drop any moment. Namtarn and Singto had started talking about wanting children and he was sure that his sister would be pregnant within a year. The compound was growing so large that there was an agreement that they wanted to move out into the country somewhere.

"Alexander. Bath time." Gulf called loudly now pulling Mew's up from the garden so he could turn to look at his lover and the gentle swell of his tummy. The pills had helped his healing ability and it had been a month ago when they had noticed that Singto was acting as Gulf's shadow again and they had gone to Nila who had confirmed that he was pregnant. Mew was positive that he had cried at that point and he knew that Gulf had. Even now he couldn't believe that there was going to be another baby. The alpha stood up from the balcony and wrapped his lover into a hug his hands pressing over what Gulf insisted was going to be their daughter before kissing his cheek.

"Daddy! Papa!" Alexander shouted running over to them and wrapping his arms around their legs the best that he could before flashing them a bright grin. Mew had never imagined that he could be this happy, but he was, and he knew that it was going to last.
