Gulf sighed hitching his bag up his shoulder refusing to look at the people that were staring openly at him. The smell of his alpha was so strong that Gulf was positive that even the humans could smell it. Breakfast had been a completely lazy affair with it mostly being made up of meat, meat, and yet more meat. Mew had insisted that it was completely normal alpha fare, but Gulf had found it to be rather a lot to handle first thing in the morning. He rubbed his stomach with the flat of his hand and then blushed as he very nearly burped loudly.

"Gulfieee!" A familiar voice called cheerfully and Gulf almost smiled as he stood still and waited for the gamma wolf to catch up with him "How was your H.E.A.T?" the gamma asked as if spelling it out would stop people from knowing what he was thinking and Gulf almost scowled until a large hand slapping him hard on the back until he stopped his hand flying away from him as his head cocked to one side "You. Have. An. Alpha?"

"It's a long story. And one that I don't want to talk about here." Gulf mumbled when it became apparent that people were purposely walking close to them to earwig into what was being said "Come with me to the canteen?"

"Of course. But just tell me. Did he force you? If he forced, you...I can take him." Joss offered and Gulf almost choked on his laughter as he reached up and ruffled the mop of soft brown hair his heart singing with happiness that he had a friend like Joss Sangngern.

"Yeah right he'd kill you. But no. He didn't force me. Hell, he hasn't even claimed me."

"Huh? But. And I mean no offence when I say this. You stink of an Alpha." Joss growled his cute nose wrinkling and Gulf nodded glad when they entered the canteen and were able to find a nice shady secluded spot so he could explain everything that had happened to him over the last few days. Joss' face grew more and more surprised with each word that came out of his mouth. Joss had a rather comical expression when he was surprised and confused, and Gulf realized that he was being treated to both of those expressions again. "He agreed to do that?!"

"Yes...He was the one that suggested it. I didn't believe him either, but he seems to be different." Gulf shrugged playing around with the half empty coffee cup that was in front of him and Joss pulled a small face draining his own fluffy hot chocolate. "He wants to meet you this evening. He wants to get to know your smell."

"I can do that." Joss smiled "I want to meet him as well."

"As long as you don't cause a fight." Gulf sighed glaring at his friend "Promise me."

"When have I ever caused a fight?"

"With that beta. And that gamma."

"I didn't start those fights, they did." Joss huffed his arms folding over his chest and Gulf chuckled remembering back to both of those fights knowing that they were both due to him and Joss' protection of him. "So, am I coming back with you after class?"

"I guess that's the plan." Gulf sighed finishing his coffee and checking his watch "Come on we're late..."

"Ah! Not again!" Joss cried jumping up from table and running out of the canteen with Gulf trailing after him as quickly as he could wondering how the meeting was going to go.

Mew sipped his lukewarm coffee watching the door of the café. His brother-in-law was due to arrive at any moment and he was thinking over what he was going to say while resisting the urge to follow Gulf's scent to his college and drag him back again. He had purposely come away from the house earlier than was needed for his meeting with Singto, so he didn't have to breathe in the scent of the omega and know that he wasn't there.

The door opened with a beep and Mew tried very hard not to growl when he caught the scent of the alpha and his beta youngest sister. He looked up with an almost forced smile as the pair came to the table and sat down with his sister between him and Singto.

"Hello, how are you?" Namtarn asked with a friendly smile. Mew relaxed just a little as he looked at his sister fully deciding that she looked prettier than ever. Her face was rounded like his own but with a softer and cuter feel around her eyes and mouth. Her nose was snubbed like a button while a cute little dimple was the only decoration having decided she hated to make up years ago. Namtarn was younger than him by twelve years, but she already seemed a whole lot wiser. She was by far his favorite sibling and had been one of the only reasons he had fought with Singto.

"I'm fine, Namtarn. I wasn't expecting you to be here today."

"Singto thought I should come. He said that you were going to take his head off last night." Namtarn laughed looking at her husband and Mew followed her gaze looking at his best friend who had so far been silently studying the menu in front of him. Mew gave an almost embarrassed shrug remembering his actions last night mumbling.

"Sorry."

"It was my fault I should have rang instead of coming." Singto hummed looking up from the menu "But your parents said you were acting strangely and that you had been missing for a week before. I suppose now though it was the heat?"

"Heat? Whose heat? You don't have a heat, ..."

"No but omegas do, your brother has found himself a little omega." Singto chuckled flashing him a proud look while Namtarn's mouth dropped open her eyes almost bulging out of her head.

"An omega? You have an omega? You?"

"Why is that so difficult to believe? I am an alpha."

"Yeah. But it's you. Does mum and dad know?"

"Not yet and I would rather you didn't tell them. Its. Complicated." Mew hummed slowly drinking some more of his coffee before explaining his meeting with Gulf and their week together before finally telling the astonished pair about his deal. At the end of it they were both looking at him like he had lost his mind though Singto was a little more thoughtful. "So that's the deal."

"He seems like a strange Omega. But then again you're a strange alpha so I suppose you're made for each other." Singto chuckled "But. I know that you're not one that will just keep an omega while marrying somebody else. So, I assume that."

"When I claim Gulf that will be it."

"Gulf? Cute name!" Namtarn laughed happily obviously not picking up on the fact that Mew had pretty much stated that he would be going against his parents' wishes "I can't wait to meet him!"

"You will but not yet. You won't tell mum and dad."

"Of course, I won't, they're not going to like it. They're set on you marrying that beta. But. no matter what we'll stand with you, right Singto?"

"Of course, we will." Singto smiled and Mew had to admit that when he left the café an hour or so later, he felt a lot better having their support. Now it was just a matter of meeting Gulf's gamma friend.
