"Carrie?" I asked as I walked into her house. It was silent. But then I heard throwing up.

I ran in, finding her.

"C? Hey.."

I saw her in the bathroom, brushing her teeth. She looked white as a ghost.

She gave me a dirty stare. I gave her a look.

"What?"

She glanced at the counter. I saw a pregnancy test.

Oh my god.

She didn't say anything, spitting out her toothpaste. She brushed past me.

"Caroline!"

"Don't talk to me." She whispered.

"Carrie.."

I glanced at the test. I checked to make sure it was correct. It was.

I found her in the kitchen, leaning against the counter.

"Hey.."

"I can't be a fucking mom.." she said.

"We'll figure it out."

She looked dead. She had no emotion on her face.

I came over, moving her so that I could hug her. She timidly wrapped her arms around me.

"It's okay."

She took a shaky breath. I pulled away. "You wanna set up an appointment?"

"No."

"Yes."

"I can't do it. I really can't. I'm getting an...I don't know."

"I don't care what you do with it, but either way, let's just see how far along you are."

She took a deep breath. "Would you...would you want it?"

"I...I don't know. Maybe."

"I'll keep it if you want it I guess..."

"Don't do it just for me. It's up to you."

She sighed, looking away. I watched her chin quiver. "Fuck.."

I pulled her into another hug. She set her head on my shoulder.

"I'll call you in. It's fine. You're okay.."

She nodded. I pulled her away and kissed her. "I'm sorry. I could've worn condoms or something."

"No it's fine..."

I hugged her tighter. She gripped onto my shirt.

I knew she started crying. I got her up on the counter, hugging her tighter as she sobbed.

"It's fine. It's okay." I said. I rubbed her back. She took a deep breath.

I knew it was bad when she cried. So it was really bad.

We had only been dating for six months. This was definitely the last thing she wanted on her plate.

Eventually she had relaxed. I grabbed a hold of her waist, moving to look at her. She threw her glasses off and rubbed her eyes.

"I don't- I.."

"Shh. Hey, I'm with you whether you have this kid or not. Okay? I know we haven't been dating that long, but I don't care. I'm here for you."

She nodded. "I'll just see how far along I am I guess.."

"Okay. When was the last time you got your period?"
