Chapter 22

Her hand was trembling.

Tae looked at her and sighed. He couldn't punish her. Her fault wasn't too much. He already punished Jungkook for nothing.
He put the ruler aside. And closed y/n's palm with his hand.
While y/n looked at him confused

Tae: will you ever do it again?
Y/n immediately shook her head: noo I am sorry

Tae: sit down y/n why were you shaking this much. I won't eat you
Y/n: I- i

Tae: it's okay. Here -he passed her water.
She drank some water. He started drawing circles on the back of her hand to calm her and it really helped.

After 5 minutes:
Tae: are you okay now?
Y/n nodded.

Tae: you don't need to be this scared of me.
But you look scary -y/n mumbled looking down.

Tae chuckled: then I bet you haven't seen any of the hyungs angry

Y/n looked at him: oppas are so sweet. They never get angry.
Tae: with you only. Me and minnie have seen hell

Y/n looked at him shocked: really? But you were away for a long time

Tae: yes it was before that I studied till college from here.
Y/n: ohh

Tae nodded: but we were the troublemakers too so hyungs had to keep it in check
Y/n laughed slightly: but we are innocent na

Tae smiled: i see and that Jungkook he got punished for nothing. He could have told me.

Y/n: he didn't know anything.

Tae: aishhh I don't know if you guys are innocent or dumb -he facepalmed while y/n looked at him sheepishly

He isn't that bad -she thought. She might not accept it but from the past few days she started feeling really comfortable in his presence like they know each other for a long time. The way he always hear her side of story before getting to conclusions and the way he doesn't force his opinion on others. Even though he is scary but there's something so calming about him. He is really different. She hasn't seen many men like him except her brothers.
Aishh stop thinking about him y/n -she scolded herself in mind.

Tae: if there's something wrong you can always come to me but don't you dare do it again or I will tell hyungs

Y/n shook her head immediately. We won't. Sorry
Tae nodded.
Soon the bell rang and it was time for next lecture. It was Tae's lecture in y/n's class. Y/n went out first while tae said he will come later.

Y/n was about to enter the class but halted seeing ms. Lee there, she thought to go back and come after her lecture but to her badluck ms. Lee noticed her. Now she couldn't do anything.

Y/n: may I come in mam?
Ms. Lee: is this the time to come for class?where were you miss y/n in the last lecture.

Y/n: mam actually Mr. Kim needed me

Ms. Lee looked at her angrily
(Actually ms. lee has a crush on Tae and she had already seen that day when tae carried her when she fainted and now again. She was jealous of y/n)

Ms. Lee: you can't skip your lectures just because Mr. kim needed you. -she was angry

Y/n: I am sorry mam

Ms. Lee: and I also don't know if you are saying the truth. So hands out miss y/n

Y/n looked at her shocked: mam -
Ms. Lee: I don't need your lame excuses miss y/n. Hands out right now

Y/n put her left hand forward knowing there's no way out while she silently prayed for someone to save her

Ms. Lee took the target and raised the ruler high
What's happening here -Tae just came like a guardian angel but Ms. Lee had already landed a hard hit on y/n's palm.
Y/N hissed.

Ms. Lee: oh Mr. Kim she bunked my lecture
Y/n didn't hear her she was busy rubbing her palm. She didn't cried but the sting was bad as ms. Lee had almost put all of her jealousy and frustration in it.

Tae: she didn't. It was an emergency. And you can't punish her or any student without verifying the reason -he sounded so cold that it gave shivers to Ms. Lee
She nodded and went out after repeating the assigned work to class.

Tae: ms y/n you can go back to your seat.
Y/n thanked him and went to her seat while tae seemed worried for her.

Noah: oh y/n are you ok? I swear ms. Lee is b*tch.

Y/n nodded.
Alice: yeah first mr. Kim and now her. Are you really okay?

Y/n: calm down guys he didn't punish me.

Noah: ohhh thank god. Wait don't tell me there's something between you two. The way he was so angry with ms. Lee for hitting you sounds like a boyfriend material hmmm -she winked at Alice to play along
Y/n blushed hard: no guys

Alice: is that so then why are you blushing love?
Noah: it's not blush.  It's the color of love -they started teasing y/n to divert her mind from pain.
Y/n: stop it guys or he will throw us out.

Noah: no way he can't when we have his precious lover with us

Y/n didn't even know why was she blushing at this. She didn't replied them.

Tae did notice them talking during the lecture but he let it go knowing they might be helping her with the pain. He couldn't punish them for this.
