Meet Again

Wedding

After the wedding ceremony, everyone was at the dragonfly for the reception.

Rory was standing in the corner of the room, watching Nicky who was crawling around.

"Aunt Rory! Aunt Rory! Aunt Rory!" Steve and Kwan came running over to her

"Hey!" Rory bent down to hug them, still keeping an eye on Nicky

"Who's who?" Steve asked

Steve and Kwan were identical and they knew that Rory couldn't tell them apart, so their favorite their favorite thing to do was ask her who was who.

Rory looked at them closely for a second "you're Steve" she pointed to the twin on the left "and you're Kwan" she pointed to the twin on the right

Both boys laughed and shook their heads

"One of these days I'll know how to tell the difference, I promise" Rory said

"It's ok" Kwan said "our kindergarten teacher didn't know either"

"But when we go to first grade we'll be in different classes" Steve said

"That's cool" Rory said as she picked up Nicky who was getting a little too far

"Boys!" Zach called out from across the room

"Bye!" They said and the same time and ran off

Rory made her way over to the bar with Nicky

"Could I just have some water, please?" Rory asked "in a plastic cup if you have one"

"Of course" 

"Long time, no see" Jess said, appearing behind Rory

"Hey! How have you been?"

"I've been good" Jess said

"Here you go" the bartender set a plastic cup of water in front of Rory

"Thank you" Rory said. She poured about 3 quarters of the water into a separate glass and then handed the plastic cup to Nicky "here baby"

"I had heard you had a baby" Jess said "congratulations"

"Thank you" Rory smiled "did I hear that you got engaged?"

"Yeah"

"Well then congratulations to you, too"

"Thanks"

"Is your fiancé here?"

"No, she's on a business trip in Australia"

"What does she do?"

"She's a wildlife photographer"

"Oh, that's so cool"

"Ace" Logan appeared next to Rory

"Logan, you know Jess, right?"

"Yeah..." Logan nodded "nice to see you"

"You too" Jess said

"Do you want me to take him?" Logan asked

"Yeah" Rory nodded and handed Nicky to Logan

"So Jess, what do you do for work?" Logan asked

"I work for a publishing company" Jess said "probably not as big as yours, but we're busy enough"

"That's great, man" Logan said
