Rory and Logan were spending Christmas in Stars Hollow with Lorelai and Luke.
After the Gilmore's Christmas Eve party. The 4 were sitting on the couch wearing Christmas pajamas and watching home alone
"Best Christmas movie ever" Lorelai said
"Wrong!" Rory scoffed "there are so many that are way better"
"Like what?"
"For starters... the nightmare before Christmas"
"Oh yeah...that is a good one"
"Shhh" Luke shushed then
"Hey, are you ok?" Logan whispered
"Yeah, why?" Rory whispered back
"You just seem a little...off" Logan said. He'd noticed that Rory had been acting different all day. "Are you feeling ok?"
"I'm fine...maybe a little tired, though"
"So let's go to sleep"
"Ok" Rory nodded. Rory reached over and tapped Lorelai's leg "we're gonna go to sleep"
"Ok"

After opening presents with Luke and Lorelai, Rory brought Logan outside to the front porch and once they were sitting on the stairs, she handed him another present. Rory watched nervously as Logan opened the box. Logan opened the box and when he saw what was inside his eyes shot over to Rory
"No way!"
Rory could feel herself getting emotional but was trying not to cry
"No freaking way! Are you serious?!"
Rory nodded and started getting teary eyed
"You're kidding!"
Rory shook her head
"Oh, my god!" Logan hugged Rory tight. By this point Rory was letting the tears flow freely
"I found out yesterday morning" Rory said through tears "I wasn't gonna tell you here, but I couldn't wait anymore"
"I knew you were acting weird" Logan said "I thought you might be getting sick or something"
"Or something..."
Logan kissed Rory and then hugged her again
Logan kept his arms around Rory, holding her close for a few moments until the front door opened
"Hey..." Lorelai said, a little confused by what was going on "what's happening?"
Logan let go of Rory and she wiped her tears
"Are you ok?" Lorelai asked
Rory nodded
"What happened? What's wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong" Rory said
Logan gave Rory a questioning look and she nodded. He handed Lorelai the small gift box that he had opened just a few minutes before. Inside the box was a onesie and 4 positive pregnancy tests.
Lorelai gasped "no!"
"Yes" Rory said, starting to cry again
"Really?"
Rory nodded
"Oh, my god. Im gonna cry" Lorelai's said and bent down to hug Rory
"Go for it, I already am" Rory chuckled and wiped her eyes
"How long have you known?"
"Since yesterday morning. I wasn't gonna do this like this but I couldn't take knowing when Logan didn't and then you walked out so..."
"Oh, I'm so excited for you guys! Congratulations!"

On New Year's Eve Rory and Logan meet up with their friends at a bar in the city. Between Christmas and new years they had found out that Rory was 6 weeks pregnant, and they decided that their one bedroom apartment was probably gonna be too small once they had a baby so they needed to move.
They were sitting at a table in a bar with their friends when the waiter came over. He went around the table taking everyone's drink order and when he got to Rory she just ordered a sprite
"You're not drinking?" Juliet asked
"Not tonight" Rory said
"It's New Year's Eve and you're not gonna drink? Logan, your wife is boring" Finn said
Logan and Rory exchanged a look. They weren't really planning on telling anyone for a few more weeks, but they also knew that there really wasn't any other way to explain why Rory wasn't drinking
"Actually Finn, his wife is pregnant" Rory said
Finn's eyes went wide "what?!" He said a little too loudly, getting everyone else's attention
"Wait, what did you just say?" Rosemary asked. She has been talking to Steph and only partly hear what Rory said
"That I'm pregnant"
Everyone started talking at once and congratulating them
"Do you guys realize that we didn't get a word of what any of you just said?" Logan asked
"I would like to make a toast" Finn said "to Rory,
and Logan, and what will probably be the most perfect looking blond hair, blue eyed little human being ever"
A little while later Rory was sitting at a different table talking to Steph and Rosemary
"So listen" Steph said "My best pregnancy advice is to get one of those pregnancy pillow things. It'll literally save your back"
"Noted"
"Oh, my god! I'm so excited for you!" Rosemary squealed "please have a girl. We need a girl"
"Hey!" Steph exclaimed
"Oh relax. We need a girl because we already have a boy"
"Yeah, I don't have any control over that" Rory said
"Do you know what you want?" Steph asked
"I don't really care"

Rory and Logan got home from the bar and got into bed. Logan was laying with his arms around Rory's waist, holding her close
"When do you wanna tell everyone else?" Logan asked
"I don't know"
"Well, we'll be by your grandparents on Friday. We can tell them then"
"Ugh, I don't wanna tell them" Rory whined
"What? Why not?"
"Because telling them that I'm pregnant is just one step away from actually acknowledging that we do, in fact, have sex"
"We're adults, and we're married. I think they know that we have sex"
"But they don't know for sure" Rory said "telling them that I'm pregnant confirms it"
"You're overthinking this. Tell them, they'll be happy"
"Fine, we can tell them on Friday"
"Good" Logan said and kissed her cheek
