Colin had asked Rory and Logan to babysit for a weekend so he and Stephanie can go away. Thursday afternoon they dropped him off.
"Are you sure you don't mind?" Stephanie asked for the 10th time
"How many times are you gonna ask that?" Rory asked
"That was the last time"
"Good" Rory said with a slight chuckle "we love Liam, it'll be fun"
"You realize that he's a 6 month old baby who's gonna scream a lot, right?"
"Are you trying to convince me not to watch him?"
"Sorry"
"Steph, we gotta go" Colin said
They said their goodbyes and then Stephanie and Colin left, leaving Liam with Rory and Logan
"Are you gonna cry if I put you down?" Rory asked Liam, not expecting him to actually answer
"Put him down, Ace" Logan said "I have something for you"
Rory put Liam down and went over to where Logan had set out some papers on the kitchen table
"What is this?" Rory asked
"You know that my dad signed HPG over to me a few months ago, making me the full owner and CEO" Logan said "you sign that and we both own it"
"Um...wow, Logan, are you sure?"
"Yes"
"Really sure?"
"Yup don't have to sign it if you don't want to, but I'm sure"
Rory signed the papers and Logan put them away.
"What's going on?" Logan asked, noticing the look on Rory's face
"I own half a company"
"Yes, you do" Logan chuckled
"I wrote my name on a piece of paper and now I own half a company"
"To put it simply"
"That's nuts"
Logan just chuckled and kissed her

On Friday Lorelai was in New York, picking up a few things for the inn so she decided to stop by and see Rory and Logan. She knocked on the door and Rory answered. Logan was sitting at the kitchen table with Liam on his lap, working on his laptop.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Rory asked when she opened the door to see Lorelai
Logan glanced over to see who was at the door "Hi Lorelai" he said from where he was sitting, bringing Lorelai's attention to him briefly. She noticed that he was holding a baby and took the opportunity to make a joke
"Uh...life change a lot since I saw you last?" Lorelai joked
"Ha ha" Rory rolled her eyes "we're babysitting"
"That's so cute. It's like you're playing house but in real life"
"Did you need something?" Rory asked
"I had to pick up some stuff for the inn and thought I would come visit my favorite loin fruit and her husband"
Rory grimaced at the nickname
"So who's the kid?" Lorelai asked
"Liam" Logan said "Steph and Colin's kid"
"They went away for the weekend and apparently don't trust either of their parents to watch him, so we're babysitting" Rory added
"It's like a little preview of your future" Lorelai teased
"Don't do that"
"Fine" Lorelai exhaled "I grabbed your mail, by the way" she handed Rory a stack of envelopes
"Thanks" Rory said as she started to look through the Mail "hey!" She called out to Logan "my license came"
"That was fast" Logan stood up, put Liam down, and walked over to Rory
"When did you order it?" Lorelai asked
"The day after we got married, right before we left for Asia so a little less than a month ago"
"That is fast"
"Hey, look" Rory said when she got the envelope open. She turned the card so Logan could see "The picture doesn't look like a mug shot like my old one"
"Can I see?" Lorelai asked
Rory handed her new drivers license to Lorelai
"Look at that. It's got your fancy new name on it and everything"
"Well, the new name think was kind the whole reason I needed a new license in the first place, so it would be bad if it didn't have the new name on it"

Rory got out of the shower and walked into the living room to see Logan holding Liam up in the air
"What are you doing?" Rory asked, confused about what Logan was doing
"Trying to get him to laugh" Logan said
"He's gonna puke on you"
"No he's not"
"Suit yourself, but you better not come near me covered in baby vomit"

Sunday night, after Colin had picked up Liam, Rory and Logan were laying in bed.
"Do you hear that?" Rory whispered
"It's quiet. No crying"
"I mean, I know it's normal but can you imagine a baby crying like that every night?"
"We are so not ready for that" Logan exhaled
"Neither were Steph and Colin but they figured it out" Rory said "you can't always control when you have a kid"
Logan sat up and looked at Rory "are you...?"
"No! Oh, my god! No! Definitely not!" Rory said "I was just saying that you can try as hard as you want but you can't really control when and if you end up pregnant"
Logan exhaled and laid back down, wrapping his arms around Rory "I was a little nervous there for a second, not gonna lie"
"I know" Rory chuckled
"Don't get me wrong, I love you and I definitely want kids with you, just not yet"
"Relax" Rory chuckled "we are very much on the same page, here"
