I was nervous.

Maybe a little more nervous than I should have been.

But after the previous night, I think I had cause for concern.

But there was no going back now.

I was currently on my way to Dottores.

His house like mine was in the middle of nowhere. Which was not a surprise considering Dottore's line of work.

I slowed down upon approaching the house.

Rather the house itself was in the distance upon a hill this was just the front gate.

The gate was closed but I could see a buzzer near the front.

So I moved my car a bit closer and rolled down my window.

Before I pressed anything I looked out at what was to come.

His house was big not overly huge but still big. There were large windows and even a few pillars. Overtop of the front entrance was a balcony.

I could not see anyone but I imagined Dottore was waiting.

So I pressed the button.

Moments later the gates opened.

I went up the driveway taking my time. As I reached the end the lights near the front flickered on.

I put the car in park and exited.

My heart was still pounding furiously. Whatever reason he had come for last night I felt like I was going to find out today.

One knock was all it took for the doors to open.

Dottore was the one who greeted me, a smile on his face.

"Hello, angel."

My heart fluttered and I smiled in return.

"Hello, Dottore. You look charming."

His smile grew and he held out a hand.

There was no going back now.

I placed my hand in his own and he pulled me inside.
