I'm walking around the hospital and I tense up when I see Jackson.

Jackson: hi.
Delilah: hi.

Jackson and I got into an argument the other night that really escalated so I walked out and spent the night at Mer's, so things are a bit tense between us.

Jackson: you okay?
Delilah: no.
Jackson: you gonna be?
Delilah: maybe. Maybe not.
Jackson: babe, can we just talk please?
Delilah: there's nothing to talk about. You think I'm crazy enough to cheat on you.
Jackson: ... you coming tonight?
Delilah: why wouldn't I?
Jackson: well, seeing as you can't stand me right now, I thought maybe you'd skip it.
Delilah: it's mom and Richard's anniversary. I love them. Of course I'm coming.
Jackson: and you're clearly in the mood to celebrate, so that's great.
Delilah: okay Jackson, it's bad enough that I have my bio mom on my ass wrongfully suing me for my brother and his father's death. I don't need you being all grumpy with me and accusing me of being a cheater.

Dylan and Maggie join us and I put on a smile when I see mom and Richard with Melissa. I didn't want mom to worry about Jackson and I so I just act happy.

Mom: hi!
Delilah: hi mom!

I give mom and Richard a hug.

Webber: so, u-um, all set for tonight?
Mom: hey, I'm making blackberry cobbler.
Jackson: ooh, my favourite.
Delilah: yum!

We all share a laugh.

Webber: so, um... see you soon.
Delilah: can't wait.
Jackson: see you tonight.
Delilah: can we talk later mom?
Mom: mhmm.

I kiss mom then I separate from Jackson and the others.

Dylan: you okay?
Delilah: Jackson thinks I'm cheating on him with Theo.
Dylan: your ex boyfriend?
Delilah: mhmm.
Dylan: don't worry about it. I'll talk to him and knock some sense into him.
Delilah: don't bother. It's fine. I'm just gonna distract myself. I'll be fine Dyl.
Dylan: if you need to talk, I'm here.
Delilah: thanks.

I walk away from Dylan and I check on some patients.

I'm standing by the nurses station looking over a chart when Mer and Amy approach me.

Meredith: hey.
Delilah: hey guys. Ames, I'm gonna need you to cover my surgery tonight. I have to go to dinner at mom's for her and Richard's anniversary.
Amy: are you and Jackson okay?
Delilah: we're fine.
Meredith: you sure? I was on a consult with him earlier, and he seemed a bit grumpy.

I let out a scoff.

Delilah: he doesn't get to be grumpy.
Amy: what's going on kiddo?
Delilah: it's nothing.
Meredith: come on, tell us.
Delilah: I don't wanna talk about it guys, so please drop it.

I walk off and head to my research lab.

I'm in my lab with Scotty going over my research.

Scotty: what happened with Jackson?
Delilah: he's been grumpy about me hanging out with Theo. He accused me of cheating on him with Theo.
Scotty: is he crazy? You love him.
Delilah: I know! I just... I don't know what to do.
Scotty: you guys are going to be fine. You guys are the epic love story. You guys will be fine.
Delilah: how's everything with you and Carly going?
Scotty: I'm breaking up with her. It's just not working anymore.
Delilah: if I'm being totally honest, I hated her. She hated me too.
Scotty: what?
Delilah: she's called me whore a couple times.
Scotty: you're kidding.
Delilah: nope.
Scotty: I'm really sorry.
Delilah: it's fine.
