Alrighty. So yea, when I wrote chapter 15, I thought of this: the idea that Taylor is leaving has caught no one off guard... except for Kaylen of course, and I wrote this in her perspective. So enjoy :)
In The dark
I fell deep into the dark,
A smile pasted on my face,
Without my love forever with me,
The smile slowly did erase.
The blinding, wild thoughts of him
Did not make amends
For the small strand of hope I'd felt
The day we'd first became friends
Since he'd taken his thoughts,
And wrote them down on a page;
Since he'd taken my heart,
And crushed it in his rage;
All of this in the dark,
Seems so much more serene,
And all my heart can saw right now,
Is that it's wholly clean.
Clean of his precious memory,
Clean of his wretched voice,
Clean of his angering presence,
And of his wicked choice.
Does that mean I'm whole again?
Surely not, never will I be.
For when he left, and 'cleaned' my heart,
Some of it ceased to be.
So {no} I'm not whole,
Not happy or secure here,
The love of my life has done this:
Taken my heart and disappeared.
