Lauren's POV

Birds chirped outside my window, making me groan. I slapped my hand onto my face to rub my eyes so that I could get some of the morning grogginess to go away.

Extending my hands out, the skin of my arm brushed against something kinda soft which threw me for a loop. Although I was surprised, the fact that I just woke up didn't help me move fast if I were in any danger. Luckily, I wasn't. To my pleasure, my still blurry eyes landed on a familiar figure that had her lips parted and eyes practically sewn shut.

I couldn't help the smile that popped up on my face. Originally, I was going to snuggle back into the warmth that Y/N's body offered but my phone vibrated on my desk, reminding me that I forgot to put my phone under my pillow.

A breath of air escaped my lips in a sigh as I forced myself out of Y/N's arms. Slowly, I stepped over her legs so that I didn't wake her with the dips in the mattress with each step.

Y/N tossed onto her side just as my foot landed on the floor, her back facing my desk. With the empty space she left on the edge of the bed, I sat down behind her making the mattress dip in the slightest. I ran my hand through my hair while going through my notifications.
