Verosika Mayday stood amidst the backstage chaos of Asmodus' club, the pulsating beats of the music reverberating through the air, mingling with the nervous fluttering in her chest. Tonight was a big night – a sold-out show awaited her, with expectations soaring higher than ever. She glanced at her reflection in the mirror, her gold and pink eyes reflecting back the uncertainty she felt within.

Y/N, her demon boyfriend, slithered up behind her, his sinuous form coiling around her like a protective embrace. His touch was reassuring, comforting in its serpentine grace. "You're going to be amazing, Verosika," he whispered, his voice soothing amidst the cacophony of noise.

Verosika leaned into his touch, feeling the tension slowly ebb away under his comforting presence. "I don't know, Y/N. What if I mess up? What if they don't like me tonight?" she fretted, her fingers tracing patterns on the edge of her costume.

Y/N's eyes, red and mesmerizing, met hers in the mirror's reflection. "You never mess up, Verosika. And as for them not liking you? Impossible. You're the star of this show, the one they all come to see. They adore you," he reassured her, his voice filled with unwavering confidence.

She sighed, allowing herself to bask in his words for a moment before the anxiety crept back in. "I just... I want everything to be perfect tonight. The choreography, the costume, the vocals... everything," she admitted, her voice tinged with susceptibility.

Y/N tightened his embrace, his scales cool against her skin. "And it will be perfect, my love. You've worked so hard for this, and it's going to pay off. Trust me," he whispered, his breath caressing her ear like a gentle breeze.

Y/N closed her eyes, letting his words wash over her like a calm wave. In that moment, she believed him – believed in herself. With Y/N by her side, she felt unstoppable, ready to take on the stage and captivate the audience with her enchanting presence.

As the time for her performance drew near, Verosika stood at the edge of the stage, her heart pounding with anticipation. The spotlight beckoned, casting its warm glow upon her as she prepared to step into the limelight once more.

Y/N slithered up beside her, his presence a silent reassurance amidst the sea of faces that awaited her. "You've got this, Verosika. Just be yourself and let your magic shine, like you always do," he whispered, his voice a steady anchor in the storm of nerves.

She nodded, a determined glint in her eyes as she took a deep breath, centring herself before the onslaught of emotions that awaited her. With one last glance at Y/N, she stepped into the spotlight, her confidence soaring as she embraced the role of the seductive enchantress once more.

As the music swirled around her, Verosika lost herself in the rhythm, her body moving with fluid grace as she danced across the stage, occasionally winking to a cheering demon in the audience. Every movement was a symphony of seduction and desire, drawing the audience into her spell with each sultry glance and whispered lyric.

And as she sang, her voice filled the air like liquid velvet, weaving a spell of enchantment that ensnared the hearts of all who listened, especially Y/N. The crowd erupted into applause, their cheers echoing like thunder as Verosika basked in the adoration that washed over her like a tidal wave.

Onstage and in public, she was a goddess, a siren luring her audience into the depths of ecstasy. But backstage, in the quiet moments before the curtain fell, she was simply Verosika – vulnerable, succubus, and deeply in love with the serpent demon who had stolen her heart.

Finally, Verosika's final notes lingered in the air like a sweet melody, gradually fading into the applause of the enraptured audience. Each clap felt like a thunderous ovation, a testament to her mesmerizing performance. As the curtain fell, she felt a rush of exhilaration course through her veins, the adrenaline of the stage still coursing through her.

Backstage, amidst the flurry of activity, as stagehands rushed to set up for the big man Asmodeus himself, Verosika found herself enveloped in Y/N's comforting embrace. His scales pressed against her skin, a reassuring presence amidst the chaos.

"You were absolutely breathtaking, Verosika," Y/N murmured, his voice filled with awe. "And though you are every time, I've never seen you shine brighter than you did tonight."

Verosika smiled, her cheeks flushed with the lingering thrill of the performance. "Thank you, Y/N. It means the world to me to hear you say that," she replied, her voice laced with gratitude.

As the adrenaline began to ebb away, Verosika's thoughts turned to the moments leading up to her performance – the nerves, the doubt, the overwhelming pressure to deliver. She looked up at Y/N, her gold and pink eyes searching his red ones for reassurance.

"I was so scared, Y/N. Scared that I wouldn't be good enough, that I would let everyone down," she admitted, her voice tinged with vulnerability.

Y/N  tightened his embrace, his coils providing a sense of security that grounded her in the moment. "You never have to doubt yourself, Verosika. You are a vision of beauty and talent, and tonight only reaffirmed that," he whispered, his voice a soothing melody.

Verosika sighed, leaning into his touch as she let his words wash over her like a warm embrace. "I just wish I could be as confident backstage as I am on it," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper.

Y/N's eyes softened with understanding, his gaze filled with an unspoken affection for the woman he loved. "You are every bit as captivating behind the curtain as you are in front of it, Verosika. Your vulnerability is what makes you truly enchanting," he reassured her, his words carrying the weight of his unwavering devotion.

He leaned in and kissed her, cupping her soft cheeks in his hands. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and pulled him closer. "I love you," she mumbled into the kiss, a small tear running down her cheek. Y/N pulled back and wiped it away.

"Hm, I know," he winked, "I love you too. Now, what do you say we go home and relax, huh? It's been a long day," Y/N said sweetly, wrapping his arm around her waist.

Verosika exhaled exhastedly. "Brilliant idea." She leaned her head on his shoulder as they walked. She knew that as long as she had her wonderful boyfriend by her side, she'd always succeed. She'd be insecure if it wasn't for him...
