Mirajane POV
"Okay, everyone. Get in positions!" I order.
We all hid in the guild hall and waited for Laxus to come. The guild doors open.
"SURPRISE!" We all shouted, but it wasn't Laxus.
It was Freed, and he was so stunned by the screams that he dropped what he was holding.
"You're not Laxus," Cana stated.
"I am surely not him."
"Is that cake?" Bickslow asked.
"It was a cake until you guys screamed in my ear."
"Sorry, Uncle Freed..." The kids apologize.
"It's alright, kiddos."
"Is there a way to save the cake?" I questioned.
"I guess we can try."
We were all surrounding the mushed cake on the floor, trying to solve how to fix it. We heard the guild doors open again, but we all ignored it.
"Daddy!" Lexi shouts while running to someone. They picked her up and carried her.
"What is all this?" Laxus spoke.
"We're trying to save the cake. Wait, Laxus?"
"SURPRISE!" We all shout.
"Huh?"
"Ugh, we messed it up!"
"What's going on?"
"This was supposed to be a surprise party for you becoming guild master!" Lexi explained.
"Oh! That's what it was? Oh, I'm sorry I ruined it." He gave a bunch of kisses to Lexi's head.
"Congrats, man! Or should I say, master?" Bickslow teased.
"You guys better not call me master."
"Yes, sir, Laxus."
I frowned while getting into Laxus' arms.
"What's wrong, Mira?"
"I had this whole party planned for you, and it got ruined."
"Awh, I don't care about a party if you're not here. All I want is for our family to be together and happy. That's the celebration for me."
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"So, I can't call you master?"
"Mmm...I can give an exception."
"Daddy, I want some cake!" Lexi spoke.
"Of course, princess!"
"Mom! Dad! There are some weird-looking people here!" Adrian shouts.
We all looked to see it was the Ten Wizard Saints.
"I'll take Lexi and Adrian," I told Laxus.
Laxus POV
"What- what are you guys doing here?" I asked the Saints.
"We wanted to congratulate you on your promotion."
"Oh, it's not a promotion to me. It's an achievement."
"Of course. We would also like to congratulate you on your other achievement."
"Which is?"
"Becoming one of the Ten Wizard Saints."
