I wanted to see what other songs of mine were in my journal, so I grabbed it from my aunt. She was holding it for me.
"Now this next song brings back some memories." I said in the microphone and I was looking at Live Like There's No Tomorrow.
I remembered the chords and everything, so I shut my journal.
I put it on the ground, and then all of a sudden I felt someone grab my arm.
I immediately looked at who grabbed my arm and it was Shawn.
A bunch of girls screamed.
I'm assuming those girls were fans of his.
"I can play the guitar for you," Shawn told me.
"You don't have to." I told him.
"I want to," Shawn said.
I have to admit, my arms were getting sore from strumming on the guitar for minutes straight.
"Okay," I said and took the guitar off.
"Is this guitar new?" Shawn smiled as he put it on.
"Yes," I said happily.
"I love it," Shawn said as he looked down at it.
"Well, it's mine. You can't have it." I told him.
I grabbed the microphone out of the stand and said, "Okay, so someone is joining me for this next song. Most of you may know him, but for the ones who don't know this is Shawn Men-"
Shawn snatched the microphone away from me before I could even finish and said, "I'm not the one who deserves a big introduction. Yeah yeah, I'm Shawn Mendes, but the real star of the night is standing right beside me. Her name is Skyler Jones.-"
Travis gave me another microphone and I said, "They already know my name. Let's just play the song, alright? This song is one that I wrote. It's called Live Like There's No Tomorrow."
I cleared my throat, Shawn laid my journal open in front of him, and then he started playing the chords to the song.
This song could be done with piano or guitar. It sounds good with either.
As I began singing, I realized that many people were recording Shawn and I.
I just ignored it and kept on singing.

"Sing a song together!" A fan screamed.
I moved closer to Shawn and asked him, "You wanna?"

He never plays guitar or sings in a restaurant. I'm shocked.
"Okay, then let's do it." Shawn smiled back at me.
"What song do you wanna do though?" I asked him.
"Hmmm..." He said while thinking.
"Oh! How about Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder? I know you love that song." I said.
"I do love that song. I've covered it tons of times." Shawn told me as if I didn't already know.
I moved the microphone stand in front of me, placed the microphone in the stand, and then Shawn started strumming the guitar.
I started singing.
