Cyn thoughts.....
I can't believe the conversation I had with erica last night. I knew it was jasmine that was talking. She was the one I fell in love with. The one that would,run up to me when she walks in the door, just to give me a kiss. Jasmine was who made me fall in love with bubble baths.I remember two weeks after my brothers funeral, I was home moping and she came and packed my suitcase. She said she have a huge gig in Canada and wanted me to tag along. After an whole hour of her begging I finally agreed. Only to know that she was lying, she rented out w huge cabin in the mountain just for us. No one knew where we was it was so gorgeous snow all around and fireplace in each room. There was a huge bathroom with glass walls so at night we took bubble baths under the stars. It was one if the best trips I had. She held me as I cried and catered to my every wish. We never left the cabin for a entire week, we was just lost in us. If erica was a guy, I would have gotten pregnant that week. I would be reading on the couch and she would gather me in her arm just to kiss me. During our bible baths she would hug me from the back and whisper in my ears that she loved me. I was blushing everyday cause when I called her she would say yes wife. She promised that I would be her wife one day.when we broke up I thought I would die. I contemplated committing suicide, I was so use to her being with me and seeing her with shad was hard. The fan made it worse tagging me in her pics on IG.Even with everything that happen I still love her, and when king told me what happen to her my blood boiled. Shad messed with the wrong one. He have something coming his way I guarantee. Let me get out this bed, I have some washing and cleaning to do, but this little boy arms are wrapped tight around me. He sleep just like his mama, only difference is her head unsally be in my boobs. She would fall asleep sucking her thumb every night, I would remove them from her mouth only to have her mouth on my breast. Every morning I had a new hickey on my breast. She was always scared to fall asleep alone, she always have nightmares when she alone at night. That foster home she was in fucked her up in the head. When I was out doing gigs, king Albee or maria would always be assigned as her sleeping buddy. I wish she would see a therapist about it. Anyways back to the task at hand. I tried to get him to let go but all he did was whine and cuddled up closer to me. My big baby, his my spoiled brat. I just lie back down and played in his curls and rubbed his back. Just then my phone buzzed.
Cyn: hello
??:where are you?
Cyn: home
??: I'm coming over I'm almost on your street .
Cyn: ok, you know where the key stays.
??: ya
Cyn: king, baby I need to get up
King:*whinning* mama I sleepy
Cyn: ok, you can stay in bed but Stella coming over
King: wait Tia Stella coming, I'm up
Cyn: *laughing* you not sleepy no more
Stella: ya, but Tia stella coming over and I need a new game.
Cyn: that foul king, you musnt use my friends for your gain.
King:mama she didn't give me anything for my bday this year
Cyn: you are your mother's child.
King went to wash his face and brush his teeth, while cyn went and do her hygiene stuff. By the time she was done, stella was already there, with king sitting in her lap and promising to buy him a new game.
Cyn: glad to see I'm not The only one that falls for his tricks.
Stella: his too cute for his own good. *kissing king cheek*
Cyn: king, what you want for breakfast?
King: can we go to I hop.
Cyn: I guess, Stella you wanna come.
Stella: you buying?
Cyn: really tho stella
King: Tia stella she buying.
Cyn: king
King: I'm gonna get dressed
Cyn: this boy is too much
Stella: how comes kings with you?
Cyn: cause erica got hurt and is now a patient at kings county, the hospital called me, apperntly I'm still her emergency contact. Long story short, I've got king while she there.
Stella: oh, how is she?
Cyn: beside a pain in my ass and a big baby, she got a broken pelvic bone.
Stella: what
Cyn: yup, I feel sorry for the sucka that got to take care of her.
Stella: I thought, she was gonna stay here with you.
Cyn: are you fucking crazy, no not till hell freeze over.
Stella:you mean to tell me, your find with some random bitch, bathing and taking care of erica?
Cyn: she not my concern, my prime focus now is king and his happiness.
Stella: what about your happiness
Cyn: I'm happy
Stella: keep telling your self that, I know you not happy. The only time you was truly and genuinely happy was with erica.
Cyn: oh please, I've been happy with ray.
Stella: aha where is her then. You should have never listen to Mary bitter ass. I told you she was jealous of you and erica. She set you up with her cheating ass cousin.
Cyn: whatever all three are out of my life , so deuces. King hurry, I'm hungry.
King:*running down the steps* I'm ready. Mama can we drop mommy some breakfast after were done eating?
Cyn: ya sure
They all piled into cyn car and headed to ihop. King ordered waffles, bacon, eggs and sausage and cyn had the same but with pancakes on the side. Stella had only omlete cause she had eaten earlier. When they was done they ordered erica waffles, eggs, bacon sausage and biscuit.
King: you know mommy not going to eat all that
Cyn: she will eat, *tapping her coat*
Stella stopped off bye the mall and said she would take a cab back for her car. King and cyn walked into erica room just in time to see her slam the bowl of oatmeal on the floor, screaming at the nurse she don't want no stinking oatmeal.
Cyn: erica jasmine mena.
Erica: *eyes bugs out when she saw cyn standing there* hi
Cyn: don't hi me, apologize now
Erica: no, *covering her head with the pillow*
Cyn: I'm sorry she such a brat
Nurse: its ok, she just cranky cause she in a bit of pain and can't get meds until she eat.
Cyn: still don't give her the right to be rude, here let me help you clean up. *cyn and the nurse clean up the floor and the nurse excused herself*
King: mommy. That was mean
Erica: leave me alone chubby
King: you being a big baby. Mama I'm going to the play room.
Cyn: let me walk you and check you in. I'm not about to be on 6 o'clock news looking for my missing son.
Cyn walked king in the play area and signed him in, she went back and saw erica peaking at her from under the pillow.
Cyn: I can see you. You know that right.
Erica: silence
Cyn: alright, so why the grumpy attitude today. Cause we can leave you here alone
Erica: silence
Cyn: ok, bye. *picking up her bag*
Erica:*whispers* don't go
Cyn: why should I stay, when your so rude.
Erica: I'm sorry, my waist hurt.
Cyn:then eat so you can get your meds. What is it with you and food.
Erica: I'm too fat
Cyn: erica, you not fat, now king and I brought you breakfast. Are you gonna eat.
Erica: no thank you
Cyn: you know what I'm not playing this game with you. *getting the food from the plastic and bringing it to the bed, cutting a piece of waffle and bringing it to erica mouth* open up and if you push my hand I'm smacking you*
Erica: I'm not hungry*stomach growls*
Cyn: not hungry my ass, open your mouth.
Erica,shakes her head, until cyn grabs her face and made her look at her, she hold erica nose close and when Erica open her mouth to breath, cyn put the fork in her mouth.
Cyn: chew and swallow
Erica did what she cyn told her, cyn kept on feeding her until all the food was gone.
Cyn: good girl
Erica: what am I getting?
Cyn: what is it you want.
Erica: a hug
Cyn: ok, hugging erica, *Laughed when erica sniffed her neck* stop
Erica: you smell so good
Cyn: thank I guess
Dr walks in....
Dr: miss mena im told you don't eat ?
Erica: I did
Cyn: she just ate all her food
Dr: good, *taking the needle from his pocket and putting it in her iv* the pain should subside. I've got good news, when this bag is done you can go home.
Erica: yes finally
Dr: I will send the nurse with the discharge papers.
Erica: thank you. Can you call Maria to come get me.
Cyn: erica, you know you can't go to your home?
Erica: huh, why?
Cyn:*knocking on her cast* how you gonna go up those steps.
Erica; *tearing up* I wanna go home, I hate it here.
Cyn: come on Erica, we will think of something.
Cyn called maria and waited for her to arrive. Maria and albee came along with nia.
Maria: erica, all our apartment are two floors up.
Erica: I will have to rent a hotel room for 6 weeks.
Cyn: you know how much that gonna be, especially in NYC.
Erica: I don't have another choice.
Nia: don't you leave on a first floor cyn?
Cyn: ya
Nia: can't she stay with you?
