The perfect relationship is what everyone wanted in life. The one they were suppose to be with forever. When anyone would talk about relationship or the perfect couple eyes went to the hero couple.
Y/N and Steve two heroes who met, fell in love, and just the cutest couple ever. Their love is what everyone wanted and what Y/N wanted to keep.
She was fighting for Steve as he began to work himself to hard. She was trying to keep him from losing himself.
It was her just trying to help him and he saw this as her trying to stop him from being a hero.
"You're so controlling! I have a job to do!" Steve yells.
"Come on Steve! This isnt about the job! Its about your health and us. We dont even spend time together anymore cause you work so much. I miss you." Y/N says.
"No! Dont do that! You are trying to make it seem like its about us, but its not! You just want me to stop so you can keep me and lock me away as your prize." Steve says.
"That doesnt make sense! Steve, you know I love you. Why are you doing this?" Y/N asks.
"You know what Y/N. Im done. You cant keep trying to control me and keep be by your side cause you're lonely. Its not my fault your clingy. I cant take it anymore." Steve says.
"What are you saying?" Y/N asks.
"Im saying its over. Im done with you." Steve says.
Y/N ran passed him and went into her room and cried. Hours later there was a knock on her door and Tony walked in.
"Rogers left." Tony says.
"Well who cares. He dumped me because I just wanted the old Steve back. The one who didnt over work, but he called me controlling and clingy. Now Im alone and heartbroken knowing that no one will ever love me." Y/N says.
"Hey Rogers is stupid. And someone will love you and you werent being controlling or clingy. You just want the man you loved back. Nothing wrong with that." Tony says sitting on her bed.
"Im alone now." Y/N says.
"Im right here and I'll leave when you want me to." Tony says.
He pulled her into his chest and just held her as she cried. For the next couple of days Tony staid in her room and kept her company until she was better.
"Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for the last week." Y/N says walking into his lab.
"No problem. Im just happy you are feeling better." Tony says.
"Well heart is still broken and my mind is lost thinking about him, but yeah better... I guess." Y/N says.
"Okay. Come with me." Tony says getting up.
"Where are we going?" Y/N asks.
"On a vacation." Tony says taking her hand and pulling her with him.
He took her to a island that was his. A place that only he ever goes too when he wants to be alone. They spent two weeks there together both with their phones off and no connection to the outside world.
On their way back to New York, Y/N was tired and so she went and sat beside Tony.
"Hey Tony, thanks." Y/N says as she fell asleep on his shoulder.
"No problem Darlin." Tony says kissing the top of her head.
2 Years Later
Steve had come back because he was ready to be with Y/N again. After some time away where all he did was mope and miss her. He was ready to go home and see her. And ask her to be his again.
He arrived back at the compound where Tony got an alert and was pissed to see Steve again. Even more upset when he saw Steve's face once he saw Y/N. Steve started to walk over to her and Tony had to quickly get down there.
"Y/N?" Steve questions.
"Yeah... Oh hi Steve." Y/N says when she sees him.
"Listen, Im sorry about everything. I have been so lost without you. Two years to think about it and I was wrong. I miss you so much." Steve says.
"Well apology accepted. Is that all?" Y/N asks.
"No, Y/N... I want you back." Steve says.
"Steve... I..." Y/N says.
"I know I hurt you, but I promise you I wont ever do it again." Steve says.
"Steve..." Y/N says.
"Just one more chance." Steve says.
He went to reach out and touch her hands when he was blasted back by IronMan.
"You dont get another chance, Rogers. You blew it." Tony says getting out of his suit.
"This has nothing to do with you, Stark." Steve says.
Tony was about to attack Steve and Y/N knew it so grabbed his hand and made him face her.
"Hey calm down. Take a breath, he isnt worth it." Y/N says.
Tony looked at her and kissed her forehead before turning back to Steve. Who was rather confused.
"She right you arent worth it and your lucky she is right here or I would kill you." Tony say.
"Tony, Baby no. And Steve listen... After you broke up with me and left, Tony picked up the pieces and put me back together. Tony and I are together now and are actually getting married next month. So we can be friends, but my heart and I moved on." Y/N says.
"With him? How is he better?" Steve asks.
"Because I love her and will listen to her when she says I need to stop. She isnt controlling or clingy when she says that. She just loves me and wants me to be okay nothing wrong with that." Tony says.
"Y/N, he isnt to be trusted with a woman's heart. He isnt good for you." Steve says.
"Hey! I have changed because of this woman and her love. She makes me better and I cant wait to call her my wife and you can deal with it." Tony says.
"Okay thats enough Tony. Steve listen I care about you and I always will. But I love Tony and know for a fact he wont ever hurt me. Im sorry Steve." Y/N says as she and Tony started walking the other way.
"Oh and Rogers, another way Im better then you is in the bedroom. Y/N even said so herself." Tony says.
"Tony!" Y/N says.
"What you did." Tony says with a smirk.
"You were suppose to tell him that." Y/N says.
"Oops." Tony says.
They left out of sight and Steve just stood there and felt broken. It was his fault and he now has to deal with his choice.
