"No!"

Before that, the loud noises of splashing water filled the air, a kind of sound easily compared to what seems to be running through the water. And what came soon after that was Krishna suddenly frozen in her tracks the very moment she felt something grab on to her wrist. Abruptly turning to look back at the male, to which she had no doubt was the one who stopped her from walking any further.

However, the very thing that had made her eyes widen in a bit of shock was as soon as she took notice of the expression on the male's face. His voice didn't sound mad, so that couldn't be the very emotion he may be feeling right now. Because rather than seeing those dangerously narrowed glaring eyes, in truth, she didn't know what kind of expression the prodigy was now making.

With his head lowered, it allowed his bangs to completely obscure his eyes. Although, whatever the male was feeling right now, the scowl on his lips convinced Krishna that it was something other than anything positive.

"Please, just do as I say!" He quietly said before tightening his grip on the girl's wrist.

His tight hold on her may not be able to hurt her, but that doesen't mean it didn't made her feel uncomfortable at all. Thankfully, the male had finally let go of her. Although, that unnerving expression on his features meant that it wasn't over yet.

Lifting his right arm and pointed towards his east, he then added "I spotted a few bamboos right over there. Don't go far, just make sure I can still spot you!"

That was all he said before turning back to continue on harvesting the lotus roots. Although, turning away made him fail to notice the sad look on the female's pale eyes. For a moment, the girl just stood there frozen and silent.

She herself knew all too well that one of the things this male hated was being disobeyed. So Krishna had no choice and began doing what she has been told, go and collect the desired materials the male asked for.

------------------------------------------------------------

Simultaneous swinging of both of her arms, a thin strip of water swept right past the few bamboos that stood before her. Bamboos may not be trees, but what came soon after were a few of the tall grass going timbre, a clean cut could be seen at it's lower end. Since the bamboos weren't that tall, that meant she had no problem at all in carrying them back, even if it's just a short distance away.

Breathing out a deep sigh, she then decided to look away from her work and over her shoulder, her gaze landing on the male back at the muddy pond. She couldn't help but melancholy stare at him with worried eyes, the image from moments ago of him quickly grabbing on to her wrist appearing in her mind. Krishna remembered how he kept his eyes completely hidden earlier, making it hard for her to read his expression.

However, she couldn't help but sworn that she had notice from behind that dark curtain of hair, there was this look of fright on his dark eyes. So the question that lingered in her mind was, why? Why would he make such expression all of a sudden? And what make this far more questionable was it was all because she mentioned she was going back to headquarters just to get a basket. Releasing another deep sigh, she then turned her head back in place and continued on with collecting the bamboo.

In that exact moment, Indra had paused from his lotus root harvesting and moved his pupil to the left side, all just so he could take a glimpse of the albino from the corner of his eyes. Only to quickly look back and continue with his work. From out of nowhere, a blurred image stained in crimson blood then suddenly appeared within his head.

Not only was it just a mere image, but a memory that was kept hidden deep from beneath the dark depths of his mind. The very memory that happened a long time ago that he wished he had just forget. It seems that it indeed came out all of a sudden, even Indra himself didn't knew why it came up to begin with, leaving him in a bit of shock.
