2729 Approaching War

On top of two flying airships sat 200 hundred Zero Wing members. This was the guilds main force and they were preparing to enter the lost light plains. All 200 were already tier 4 and the weakest had reach the peak of the refinement realm. They were ready for anything. As soon as the airships landed and were collected the mainforce made their way to the entrance of the map.
"Guild leader I see a 200 man team. It seems they just killed a monster and are collecting its loot." Minor Wind said in the team chat.
"Do you know who they are?" Shi Feng asked. In order to increase his chances of activating the lost light plains he made sure everyone had reached level 135 at least. The highest level of the superpowers peak experts should be 131 at most, so its surprising to see people here.
"They're wearing Kings Return guild emblem. I think they are also being led by Odin, one of the new adjudicators." Minor Wind informed.
"Kings Return and Odin." Shi Feng was shocked he did remember Kings Return having been the one to activate the Lost Light Plains in the past and he remembers Odin as well, the man became the future guild leader of Kings Return.
"Should we chase them away, Guild leader?" Aqua Rose asked
"There's no need, since they so graciously defeated the guardian boss for us, let them enjoy their loot. It's a shame we collected so many locust stones, I'll have to find another use for them." The guardian boss protecting this map was a plant type pseudo tier 5 monster with a special bloodline, that's why it was so hard to unlock this map and locust stones are very effective against plant type monsters.
"Commander there are people over there. They seem to be from Zero Wing, what should we do" a ranger said to the berserker leading the team.
This berserker was Odin, he was tall and basically a mass of muscle with a full beard as well.
"Zero Wing? Leave them they are not the type to cause trouble for no reason and if not provoked. Our priority is this map, based on the information we have this map is an absolute treasure trove. Look, the gates open, let's go." Odin then led his team to the new map.
When they were quite a distance away Shi Feng led his team in as well. Once they were in, everyone was surprised, they saw mythic monsters everywhere and the weakest grand lords they saw were all archaic or the equivalent of one.
"For now go wild and kill as many monsters as you can find they drop excellent loot." Shi Feng said his goal right now was to level up the aura of space so he would be able to teleport in this map. Zero wings main force went on a hunting spree killing every monster they saw. They collected so much items that Aqua, Snows, and Fire's bags were filled to the brim. Shi Feng managed to level up the aura of space to tier 4 level 5 then opened a spatial gate to the Shining Fortress.
"Guild leader you actually captured a fortress! How!?" The various large guilds have done their research on level 140-200 god ranked neutral maps. Due to the extreme environments and powerful monsters regular players can't stay long, also fortresses and cities can't survive. If you were to transfer a normal town into one of these maps it wouldn't last a day. Only advanced cities and higher have a chance to survive in these locations and the maintenance on keeping the cities functioning are extremely expensive, to the point that it either can't be done or it's not worth it. This is why the various guilds were collecting high quality camping items and equipment so they could stay long term in these maps Zero Wing included.
"For now pick guild members and personal guards to relocate here and start building up the defenses alright." Shi Feng knew what Aqua was thinking, if it wasn't for his legendary quest this fortress would have remained a mystery for at least ten years. Everyone started going to work. Shi Feng made it so that other guild members can teleport here and picked architects from the candlelight trading firm to start building hotels, restaurants, and other businesses.
Naturally the spies in in the guild let this information about the fortress be known.
"What Zero Wing has a fortress in the Lost Light Plains! How, I thought there was none in those maps."
"Zero Wing again, looks like the guild will continue to rise."
"Call Zero Wing ! Tell them we are willing to talk a partnership for the temporary guild residence in there."
The various superpowers were going frantic trying to get in contact with Zero Wing and form partnerships, while some were plotting against the guild. After all they no longer feared Black Flame as much. While the man was still invincible what he did at the rock nest fortress and to war blood can't be done again unless he reaches tier 5. And so long as they don't attack the upstart guild in the real world Black Flame won't take drastic measures against them.
"So they were here for a fortress huh, Black Flame is certainly interesting" Odin said.
"Odin the higher ups want us to form a deal with Zero Wing and try to get the temporary residence they have" Hell Fiend said, another adjudicator.
"Of course but I don't think you should come Fiend after all you have a grudge against the guild right. If you say something to annoy Black Flame we'll get nothing. And fighting the guild with our current forces isn't smart" Odin said.
Hell Fiend could only grind his teeth as he watched Odin lead a group of people to the Light Castle fortress.
In the Winter Sky's Forest a level 100 to 140 neutral map was the corpse of a giant wolf man. This wolf man was Caning the level 140 world boss of this map and around his corpse was a 200 man team all geared in phenomenal equipment and with auras stronger then mythics. This 200 man team was Mythology's main force in the east.
"Vice guild leader we just got word that Zero Wing managed to capture a fortress in the Lost Light Plains, what should we do?" White feather reported to Cold Shadow as she organized the loot the world boss dropped.
"They managed to capture a fort in that map, Black Flame is extraordinary. For now we won't do anything and wait for the other superpowers to attack. They won't sit by and watch the guild gain a massive fortune." Cold Shadow said.
"But I heard Black Flame is there as well, do you really think the other superpowers are capable of defeating him?" White feather asked with worry. She knew how unstoppable Shi Feng was, his presence alone halted Mythology's plans for the guild.
"Black Flame is strong but not unbeatable. Once the other superpowers wear Zero Wing down that's when we'll strike. For now go and prepare, request for the Silver Light Legion. Cold Shadow said, she will never dare to underestimate Shi Feng again and the Silver Light legion is the strongest legion in mythology able to fight on par with the Hell legion.
"Yes Vice Guild leader!" White Feather immediately went to go prepare.
Back in the Shining fortress castle in the office room sat Odin and Shi Feng.
"Guild leader Black Flame, Kings Return wishes to form a partnership in exchange for the temporary guild residence here. The guild leader is willing to give Candle Light these lands and is offering Zero Wing 5% shares of a wind source crystal mine we have under our control." Odin said as he passed a piece of paper to Shi Feng.
Shi Feng was stunned all these lands were either golden lands or lands that would become immensely valuable in the future and wind source crystal mines can produce magic crystals. He had to admit he was sorely tempted.
"Adjudicator Odin while your offer is very tempting and Zero Wing will love a partnership with Kings Return, I'm afraid I can not offer your guild the residence."Shi Feng said shaking his head.
"May I know why. Is what we offered not enough?" Odin asked.
"No what you offered is amazing is just that we intend to auction the private residence to the candlelight chamber of commerce members and a few select allies of the guild in a few days" Shi Feng informed. The Candlelight chamber of commerce has been stagnant with only a few superpowers in it, while others have many more superpowers in their chambers of commerce. The only reason Zero Wing can compete with those other chamber of commerce is because of the many first rate and below powers that are in it.
"I see so if we join Candlelight's chamber of commerce we will have a chance to get the residence?" Odin asked
"Of course, besides the residence Zero Wing will also auction of many special items that even Kings Return would want, and all members of the commerce will get 10% oof on all the fortress expenditures." Shi Feng said, all though the two guilds have a tiny beef with each other that happened a long time ago and having another superpower in his commerce would be very beneficial.
"Ok guild leader Black Flame I'll let my superiors know. Also many superpowers are currently preparing to assault your fortress, if you require help I can represent Kings Return in supplying some man power to assist you?" Odin said, trying to get some brownie points.
"Thank you for the warning but that won't be necessary Zero Wing can protect itself." Shi Feng said with a confident tone.
Odin could only offer his best then go on to report to his guild.
"Guild leader looks like the other superpowers are begging for a beating." Gentle Snow said with a cold glint in her eyes.
"Looks like it, they never seem to learn. Since they wish to cause trouble let's give them a painful lesson shall we. Aqua has the barrier and cannon been restored yet?"
"The barrier is almost ready, but the cannon requires a little more mana stones to repair. I have Fire going to farm some now" Aqua responded.
"Perfect we'll give those idiots a show they will never forget" Shi Feng said.
