The band Ibuki broke off from was Sayaka's now pop group. Before, it had a rock section that all the members enjoyed immensely. But this was when they were getting their footing, and though they were popular, everyone thought they were just one shots (heh) and would disappear next year so no one invested anything. The rock portion became too much to handle with how little they had, and they switched their focus to pop entirely. Sayaka tried her best to let Ibuki express herself, but eventually they were all absorbed into being pop sensations. Ibuki one day up and quit, ripping off her headband and throwing it to the ground in anger. Sayaka let her go, and they're still on good terms now, though they could be on better terms. Sayaka can't completely forgive Ibuki for walking out on them when things were hardest, but she doesn't blame her for doing so.
