During the game, Nagito was unable to look at his left hand for long or even use it for extended periods of time unless those times were lethal. He had no idea why, and just thought that his illness was reaching his hand first. Hajime noticed this too, and would notice how Nagito rubbed just underneath his wrist. Sometimes, he'd spot nail marks, of Nagito unconsciously digging his weirdly long nails into his skin. Of course, he had no idea why he was doing this either but Hajime wanted it to stop. So, he bought two bracelets and tied them together with different types of yarn to make it look pretty and feel soft. He gave it to Nagito who wore it underneath his sleeve.
It wasn't found on Nagito's body, though. It was instead found in Hajime's bed, on his pillow.
