Stargazing (Male Reader)

"No way am I going!" Adam said. Jaiden was trying to convince him of going stargazing. To Adam it just seemed like camping and he didn't have the best history with camping. "No way, not after last time! It could be dangerous."

"Come on Adam, it could be fun! We're not even camping, were just gonna look at the stars for an hour and come home. Plus it won't be the same without you!"

"No Jai. The last time we lost our tent, starved to death, and I almost got caught on fire. I'm not going!" Adam claimed.

"Fine, I'll just have to tell Y/N and James your not going. Y/N was really excited to see you too." Jaiden said.

"Wait, Y/N?" Adam asked. "He's gonna be there?" Heat rushed on to Adam's face as his heart began to swore. "I mean, I guess I could go..." Jaiden smiled even though she knew that Adam was going just because of Y/N, she was still happy her friend was coming along.

When the day finally arrived, Adam packed carefully. He brought his phone, wallet, matches, a lighter, his guitar, water, snacks, and a few blankets. His backpack was practically overflowing but he wanted to be ready for anything. He even has a fire-proof vest on just in case.

Y/N knocked on the door and when Adam answered he couldn't help but smile at his friend. "Hey Y/N." He observed Adam's outfit and huge bag. "Well, someone's overdressed. You bringing the bed too?"

"Only of you're in it." Adam flirted. Y/N got a little embarrassed as they both laughed and got in the car.

The drive was long but the four kept themselves entertained. They told stories, sang songs, and watched YouTube. While on YouTube, Adam noticed Y/N listening to his music. "You like my song?" he asked.

Y/N blushed and didn't make eye contact with Adam. "Yeah, your kinda my favorite artist. Your voice is amazing." Adam blushed and looked away too. The both of them were silent the rest of the trip.

When they reached the site they got out of the car and got set up. Adam was sharing snacks and water bottle. "Adam do you have a portal in there." James teased. "Come on James be realistic, he has his house in there at most." Jaiden added.

"Very funny guys. I just wanna be prepared so we're all safe." Adam said taking his bag off.

"It's time to make the fire!" James called out.

"No! Your are not making the fire again. You remember last time." Adam called back.

"It wasn't my fault Adam. You didn't move out of the way."

"Um, what's going on?" Y/N asked.

"You see." Jaiden started. "We were setting up a campfire and Adam wanted to do it the 'old fashioned way'. It was taking a long time so James pulled out his lighter and lit a fire. Adam didn't get a chance to move his arms out of the way so..."

"James almost lit me on fire end of story. I don't like talking about it." Adam said while starting the fire.

"Look, I said I was sorry like a bunch of times, even though I still blame you."

"Forget it guys, it was in the past. How about we sing a campfire song? Adam where's your guitar?"

"Why would I bring my guitar?" Y/N brought out his guitar as Adam blushed and took it out of his case. "Your brought everything else, why not the guitar?" Y/N said. "Anyway let's do the Campfire Song Song.

Adam started to play. "Let's gather around the campfire and sing our campfire song."

James joined in with Adam. "Our C, A, M, P, F, I, R, E, S, O, N, G, song!"

Jaiden joined the two. "And if you don't think we can sing it faster than your wrong."

"But it'll help if you just sing along." Adam finished. Y/N couldn't help but enjoy Adam's voice. He just kept his eyes on him through the whole song until all eyes were on him. "Uh, sorry guys I don't sing, I'm not very good like Ad- I mean you guys."

"I'm not very good ethier but it's fun to try." James said.

"Come on, Y/N. You can do it, I believe in you." Adam said. He couldn't say no to Adam so he just sang. C, A, M, P, F, I, R, E, S, O, N, G song." Adam was surprised by Y/N's vocal talent. It was one of the best voices he ever heard. "Um Adam, you stopped playing." Y/N said. Adam's face flushed up and started to play again.

The group went to the hills to get a better look at the stars. James and Jaiden stopped at the shorter hill and Y/N and Adam kept going to the taller hill not too far away. "You know, your a talented singer. Your voice is amazing." Adam complimented.

"T-thanks, Adam. That means a lot." Y/N said as he looked up at the stars.

"The stars look amazing tonight."

"Yeah, amazing..." Y/N said. He wasn't looking at the stars though, he was admiring Adam. When Adam saw this his face was dusted with blush as he looked away.

Y/N yawned and leaned on Adam. He let Y/N sleep put his head on his stomach. "Hey Adam?" Y/N said looking up at Adam.

"Yeah buddy."

"I l-lo..... nothing." Y/N said as he tried to fall asleep.

Adam kissed his forehead and smiled. "I love you too, Y/N."

Y/N opened his eyes and looked at Adam. Adam just looked down and smiled at his friend. "You heard me, Y/N." he said confirming his statement. Y/N smiled and feel asleep cuddling Adam. Adam pulled out his blanket and threw it over himself and Y/N. Jaiden was right, this was fun.
