Comment No.1, past you has a habit of making Shuichi the giver in oneshots and Kokichi kind of depend on him but like make them equal in headcanons. Their relationship is balanced I promise I'm just a bad writer future me. Oh, and this is shorter because I want it to be and it's the first ever oneshot of this book.

Also, I am not deaf, so my portrayal of this may be incorrect, and I'm sorry for that.

Shuichi laid, staring at the ceiling as Kokichi snuggled up into his side. The purple eyes boy had been close to the world of silence. He could hear, but it was almost pointless. Luckily, Kichi could still talk, couldn't read lips even if he pretends he can though.'Kichi, what college do you plan to go to?' Shuichi signed, scrolling down the list of all the colleges he was interested in. Kokichi shifted up and looked at his laptop," Any, if you're close by." He said sappily, pinching Shuichi's cheek playfully. Shu smiled and held Kichi's hand, and then realized something. He had a question stirring in his mind ever since he first began learning to sign.

'Kichi, why don't you get hearing aids?' Shu signed curiously, trying to make sure his body language wasn't demeaning or forceful. Kokichi grinned," Ultimate Supreme Leader, I don't need hearing aids! My money goes towards useful things like food!" He said, and Shuichi went quiet, trying to decipher this lie. It was obviously a lie, Kokichi was averting eye contact. Perhaps it's a fake lie, or a trick lie? Or maybe it's just an opposite lie. That seems most accurate. Shuichi's heart broke, because if he was right, Kokichi really wanted hearing aids but his money was budgeted.' Sorry, we'll get them for you one day,' Shu signed sadly, closing his laptop. College searching might have to wait, at least until they were both happy.

'Happy birthday, Kichi!' Shuichi signed excitedly, hugging the boy tight. The party aftermath was a mess, but it gave Shu the chance to be alone with his birthday boy even if they did have to clean up later." You got me 34 presents this year, how could you?" Kokichi wailed, hiccuping by accident. Shuichi laughed and pulled out a smaller box than the pillow present. Kokichi went rigid," You didn't have to get me two gifts." He said bluntly, but took the box from Shu's palm. Shuichi fidgeted with his buttons for a bit as Kokichi shook the box gently before opening it.

      Tears immediately sprung into the boys eyes and he put down the box in shock.'Kokichi?' Shuichi signed worriedly as the boy seemingly shut down. Kokichi looked up at Shu, unable to stop crying, and tried to say," I didn't need these, I'm a supreme lead-" He was interrupted by his rapid sobbing, and Kokichi launched forward into Shuichi's arms, sending them both tumbling onto the couch. Shuichi embraced Kokichi tightly as he cried joyfully into Shu's chest. Finally, Kokichi stopped and grabbed the hearing aids, equipping them and turning them on. His face lit up, for Shuichi could only imagine was so many reasons. Kokichi looked at him, and tearfully smiled," I love you, so much."

       "So which college are you going to? Years almost over,"

        "I don't think I'll be going to college for awhile, but that's okay, I have you."

Pssst Shuichi used his college funds to buy Kokichi hearing aids.
