You and Yoongi decided to leave it a secret that you were getting braces. Instead of going to school one morning during the last week of school, you went to the orthodontist and got your very own set of braces – the bottom half basic metal ones while the top was clear. Your older brother joked about seeing how long it would be for the others to notice, so while he was at work, you kept him posted on if someone had said anything.

Seokjin:

Sadly, Jin wouldn't see them until the next morning since he was no longer living with you. He came in to deliver breakfast before he headed to work and you were downstairs to greet him. By then, everyone else had noticed, so you weren't trying to hide them anymore. You were having a nice conversation with your oldest brother about a party your friend was planning and you kept noticing how his eyes kept focusing on your mouth as you talked. The more he stared, the more you smiled, knowing he was going to say something. "When did that happen?" he asked, grinning. "Last time I checked, you didn't have a brace face." After he scolded you for not telling him since he was the oldest, after all, he told you that he thought you didn't need them in the first place. "Well, now you'll just be even prettier."

Yoongi:

Yoongi had been sentenced to the waiting room while you were sent back to have your braces put on. Minutes ticked by and there were only so many things he could scroll through without resorting to watching the news that was on the TV in the lobby *shudder*. So he sat there. And sat there. And eventually, heard a sharp "Yoongi" behind him. He turned and saw your head poking out from the area he had last seen you enter. You were trying your best not to grin in case they were too noticeable and plus, you wanted them to be a surprise for him, too. He asked you if they needed him and you nodded, trying to stop yourself from grinning so much. However, when he got back there and had to listen to the lecture your orthodontist gave him about making sure you took care of them like you were supposed to, he didn't take his eyes of your smile that was gradually getting bigger by the second. And eventually, you looked up at him, your new braces on display, and he grinned just as widely. "Look at my little dork," he gushed.
