Peter's POV

"Do you Princess (Y/N) (L/N) take Prince Eric Smith as your lawfully wedded husband?"

My hands were balled into fists as I watched (Y/N) as she opened her mouth to say her reply. It took her a few seconds before she replied. I didn't understand why it took her long, I was expecting her to answer without hesitation.

"I," she said her voice cracking.

Why is her voice cracking?

"I do," she said.

The entire kingdom cheered for the newly weds while tears flowed from my eyes. She is gone now. She can't be mine now, that worst part was that she never even mine from the start. I was getting ready to leave, so I took one look at her face which I expected should be happy but I saw one tear escape from her face. She noticed it and wiped it away, I thought that it just might be a tear of joy.

When I got back in Neverland, the first thing I did was I ripped out my own heart. Now I can't feel anything, supposedly. I can still feel something but it wasn't as strong as when I had it inside of me. I hid it in my treehouse where no one will now enter.

I thought that having my heart ripped out will make me feel nothing but I said that I still feel something. I want to feel nothing. I can't handle this pain inside of me. I called the Dark One and he gave me a potion of forgetting in exchange for my heart. Before I drank the potion, I was thinking of the promise I made to (Y/N). A promise which I will now break.

"I'm sorry (Y/N). But you'll forget about me too," I said as I drank the potion.

When I drank it, I forgot about her.

-

Two years have past since I drank that potion about forgetting someone. Those two years have been delighting and exhilarating but I still feel empty. Well, I guess that's the price I had to pay other than giving the Dark One my heart.

Now as I sit on my thinking tree, where I drank the potion, I watched as a pirate ship docked on the island. They aren't really a problem, unless they decide to threaten one of my Lost Boys or me. That will never happen since they know about me and about my games. They're just here for some business.

The ship left after a day and here I am again enjoying solitude. I don't really count the Lost Boys other than Felix as a friend. Even if I count him as a friend, we have nothing to talk about and I really enjoy solitude. As I was watching my island, I felt something. The ship left Neverland but someone stayed behind. I went back to camp and saw the Lost Boys training.

"Boys," I said. "Someone thinks that he could stay here without me knowing. Well let's prove him wrong," I said and the boys cheered. "You know what to do," the boys went into groups and ran into different parts of the woods. "Let's play."

I watched as the boys tracked our guest, they were really good. They never cease to impress me. I decided to see who our guest is. I found him where the cure for Dreamshade could only be found. I saw that he knows what he was doing since he was completely covered as he was cutting out some of the Dreamshade so that he could get to the waterfall. When he got it, he took off his hood and mask. I was shocked when I saw a girl.
