Chapter 33

Yesterday was the most heart breaking day of my life.

I couldn't believe it was already Thursday again.

This week was actually going by fairly fast.

I couldn't believe also that Austin and I had been broken up for about a week and one day.

And I didn't want to go on another day without him.

But, what would things be like if we got back together?

Awkward like Kayla and I?

I know for a fact we won't snap back to normal.

I finally pulled myself out of bed.

I threw on another fairly nice outfit. Avoiding showing in hurt.

Especially not to Cassidy.

I got to school noticing that both Cassidy and Austin were gone.

Skipping school. Familiar.

I wonder what they're doing?

I just hope he's not having his first after his first.

He isn't that low and stupid is he?

The day drug on.

It was eighth hour and the bell was about to ring to let us out.

"Jennifer, I'd like you to stay after class please."

"Um. Okay.."

Great. Now I am in trouble or something.

The final bell rung and I stayed

In my seat.

After everyone had left, Mr. Martin closed the door.

"Jennifer, are you okay?" He spoke.

"Yeah! Why?"

"I know you're not. You're grades this week has slipped a little. On stuff I know that you know. I see you around school. I've noticed you and Kayla weren't hanging around there for a while..I've noticed your eyes.."

I didn't know what to say. I guess my pain was more noticeable than I had thought.

"Well, I don't think you wanna hear about my teenage girl problems. And it's a little inappropriate for a student and teacher to have that kind of relationship.."

He looked at me confused, "Jennifer Ann. Really?"

I sighed, "Okay here it goes."

"I haven't been such a good friend lately. And when I made up with them like a good friend should do, I got replaced. Kayla is infatuated with Alex now. Austin is with Cassidy."

"Cassidy?"

"Yeah."

"Cassidy is with Kyle."

"How do you know?"

"I'm a teacher. I know everything. And their little make out thing they got going every single Morning for the past week and a half is exactly hidden."

"What time does this go on?!"

"Every morning at 7:40. 25 minutes before school starts."

"Thank you!"

I screamed and ran out the door.

Everyone had already left.

I ran full speed to my locker and threw everything in.
