Chapter 24

I got ready for church the next day. I wondered if Austin was going to be there.

I dressed nice and got my make up on and such.

The whole time I drove to church I couldn't help but to think about how crappy this weekend was.

I got to church and Austin was already there and had me a seat saved.

I walked up beside him and he immediately grabbed my hand and held it.

I looked at him and smiled.

He smiled back to me.

I was so happy. But then again I was upset about Kayla.

I don't know, it's nuts.

We continued through church service which was wonderful.

"You wanna go out to eat?" Austin asked.

"Yeah sure where too?"

"Well I figured that maybe we could take your car home and I could take you in my vehicle. It's a surprise."

"Okay."

We took my vehicle home and I hoped up into the passenger side of Austin's Red SUV.

He leaned over and gave me a kiss, "You ready?"

"Yep. let's go."

He nodded and put it into reverse.

When we began to drive down the road, I turned on the radio.

"Now you're just somebody that I used to know!" The radio blared.

"This is an old one!" I said as I went to turn it down.

Austin grabbed my hand, "No wait! Leave it. This is a good song for you."

He began to sing to me, "Now you're just somebody that I used to know! Somebody! I used to know.."

I loved when he sang to me. But, in this point he is implying about how I don't know who I am anymore.

"Not funny, Austin."

"I know. I know babe. I'm sorry."

"I'll bet you are."

He just started laughing.

We flipped through the channels again, "I say 'Will you marry me?!"

Austin looked at me genuinely and sang it.

I laughed at him. We skipped through channels again when we found my song right as it was coming on.

"It's our party we can do what we want!" I belted out.

"Oh my God. You like this song?"

"Yes?! This my song!"

By the chorus we were both dancing and singing it.

"And we can't stop! And we won't stop!"

We just kept going until the song was over.

Austin honked his horn for no reason, "That was so freaking fun!"

"Are you being sarcastic?"

"A little."

"Are we almost there? I'm starved."

"Yeah yeah! Close your eyes. You'll know when we are there."

I covered my eyes and closed them. Not two minutes later I could feel us pull in somewhere.

"Hi! Welcome to McDonald's how may I take your order?"

"McDonald's Austin? Really?"

"What? I love this place."
