sorry this is awful got literally no motivation to write at all but I abandoned you yesterday so I have to update :P sorry about not updating yesterday!
It was a relatively warm day at bondi today and there was a decent crowd as it was the weekend. I was down at middle south with whippet when there was a commotion in the water. A man was holding up a body and was swimming her to shore.
" HELP!" someone yelled and I stripped off and ran in, I heard whippet radio for the defib and shortly followed me in on the on the other board. I paddled speedily over to him and hauled the girls body onto my board. I flipped her over and began giving her mouth to mouth as whippet gave her chest compressions and the man who was dragging her body pushed the board in.
Her body was cold and she had no pulse, her face was blue and eyes were closed.
" no not again" I mumbled, I couldn't deal with another death.
We got to the sand and we picked up her body and ran her to the sand. Chappo was on the sand with the defib ready. We placed her on the sand and I undid her bikini top and started to dry her chest ready for the defib, chappo grabbed her wrist " no pulse" he exclaimed as we put the oxygen on her
" is she dead or alive?" I heard the man yell, a ring of death had formed around us and that was adding to the pressure.
" everyone GET BACK!" I yelled as Whippet stuck the defib to her chest.
" charging... right clear!" whippet shouted and we all leaned back from her as the defib shocked her. Her body twitched on the sand as it did so check pulse the defib bleeped. Whippet felt her pulse " no nothing... charging again ...... !"
Just as the defib was about to shock her a man came pushing through the crowd " that's my girlfriend!" he cried and threw himself down next to her body
" DONT TOUCH HER!" I yelled grabbing him and pulling him back as the defib shocked her " we're doing everything we can now please stay back or you'll get shocked!"
" she's my girlfriend!" he cried out
" got a pulse!" chappo exclaimed and the crowd starting clapping as the girl opened her eyes. I rushed over to the girls head as she came to, knowing how panicked and confused she'd be. She was surrounded by a huge crowd of people with no bikini top on and had been clinically dead for sometime!
" hello darling I'm Jorja, your alright don't worry" I soothed as we rolled her onto her side to vomit up the water " your at bondi beach and your boyfriends here to" I said softly letting her boyfriend come next to me and talk to his girl. " right my love we're going to put you on a spinal board ok?, we''ll do all the work for you don't worry" I said as I saw Jesse jogging down with a spinal board and collar.
He arrived next to us and we rolled her gently onto the spinal board and me and Jesse put the collar on her. The paramedics had arrived at this point and we drove her up to the tower on the back. she was crying softly with her boyfriend at this point so we didn't interrupt them as we put her in the ambulance and they took her to hospital.
Going back in the tower I noticed that had all take place in the space of 5 minutes " god that was insane!" I gasped grabbing a towel to dry myself
" good job Jorja, you did well out there" H said from his seat, I turned to whippet and high fived him before we drove down to our post, we passed Jesse on the way up and I leaned out to give him a quick kiss but whippet swerved the buggy away just before we connected
" WHIP!" I exclaimed as he speeded down to the water
he just laughed " you two are too cute so I'm enforcing a kissing ban on you two!" he laughed
I just opened my mouth in shock " f**k off you don't own us!" I joked as whip just shrugged, I punched him on the arm lightly as he laughed and we turned our attention back to the water.
* Later *
We were just putting the shutters down when the phone starting ringing, I picked up
" hello bondi lifeguards Jorja speaking"
" hi, this is John, earlier today my girlfriend clare was taken to hospital after you brought her back to life, I was just ringing to say thank you as she is recovering now" I could hear the relief on his voice as he said it
" oh that's brilliant!" I gasped " I was the one who brought her in and held you back, sorry about that by the way"
" its fine don't worry, I just panicked and didn't think about what was going on" he laughed slightly " I better get going but I just wanted to thank you properly" John said
" its brilliant news and thank you for letting us know, send clare our love and best wishes"
" I will, thank you again, bye now" he said
" goodbye james, thank you" I said putting the phone back down. I turned round to see the boys all watching me expectantly " The girl from earlier is going to be ok!" I exclaimed as all the boys cheered and hi fived me and each other. I gave Jesse a hug and went to kiss him when I felt whippet pick me up and drag me away from Jesse
" no! no kisses!" he exclaimed running out the door and down the prom with me still in his arms. I jut laughed and whispered in his ear
" well, we could do a lot worse, but we wait until we're at home for that.... sometimes"
I was dropped instantly to the floor and landed on my feet.
" I dont even want to know!" he said with a disgusted face before walking back to the tower with me laughing behind him. I walked over to Jesse and wrapped my hand in his
" see ya" i said with a wink at whippet " have a good night!"
" what was that about?" Jesse laughed as we walked to the bike
" dont ask" I laughed as I slipped on my helmet and jumped on behind jesse. I wrapped my arms round his waist as we set off back home.
When we got home I jumped in the shower and got changed into my pyjamas as Jesse got dinner ready. We curled up on the sofa as we ate. I then went and washed the dishes. As I was drying them up I felt a pair of arms slide round my waist and hug me from behind. Jesse's breath tickled my ear as he whispered
" have I ever told you how much I love you" he kissed my neck softly and my eyes fluttered shut briefly " I love you so much Jorja" he whispered
I turned around and placed my arms over his shoulders, he placed his hands on my waist and looked deep into my eyes
" I love you too Jesse" I smiled kissing him softly. He lead me back into the lounge and we cuddled up on the sofa together and we watched taken. He wrapped his arms around me in a big bear hug and I felt so protected in his arms, I smiled in content and snuggled deeper into his chest, breathing in his comforting scent. I felt safe, protected and most importantly loved.
I couldnt imagine a life without Jesse. My bra boy.
ok why am i crying ! :'(
why do I want this so much :'( someone get me a boyfriend or a Jesse :'( been wanting a hug from a boy all week. Just a big bear hug where you feel all safe and protected, dont know when my big stepbrother is coming down but may have to hug him for the first time like " i need this!"
