the next stop was Jesse's parents. as we drove closer the nerves began to fill my body, yes they liked me last time as a friend for Jesse, but as his girlfriend, what would they think of me now. Jesse put his hand over mine as we drove into the maroubra subarbs " its like Christmas day all over again" I laughed remembering how I felt driving to meet debra and porky for the first time.
" don't worry babe, I'm sure they probably knew that we would get together some time, and they loved you last time so they will still love you this time" Jesse reassured me
we pulled up outside their house and I took a deep breath before getting out the car. Jesse held my hand as we walked down the path to the house, he knocked on the door and I gave him a weak smile.
Debra came to the door and opened it with a big smile " hello you to, is everything ok?" she then looked down and saw our hands together, she looked back up to our faces with a even bigger smile " porky!, you owe me 20 bucks!" she yelled back into the house
" seriously mum!" jesse said " you to!", she leaned forward and gave us both a kiss on the cheek
" come on in darlings, porky!, I win!" she said as we followed her into the living room
" crap, I thought I had it in the bag!" porky said standing up to greet us
" do I even want to know what the bets were" Jesse sighed
" I said you'd be together within 3 months after Christmas and porky said 4 months, its February now so I win!" debra said happily
" well I hope you spend the money well mum" Jesse sighed, I just laughed along with debra.
we didn't spend long at their house, we told them about us and had a drink before we needed to set off to tell the bra boys. Debra and porky waved us off after giving us a hug and kiss, I saw porky unwillingly hand over a 20 dollar note
" why are we telling everyone today?" I asked Jesse as we drove off
" it means there's no sneaking around and they hear it directly from us rather than being harassed for the next few days!" Jesse explained " I know mum will text someone and then koby will hear it and if we don't go tell him know we wont hear the end of it!"
we drove back into the centre of maroubra looking for the boys,
" I know they'll be out tonight, koby was saying something about a meet up a while ago, ah ha!" jesse said pointing over to a large crowd of men. we pulled up in the car and stepped out.
" hey guys, you made it" koby said as we walked over to him, Jesse's arm was around my waist and he held me close to his body as we stood in front of koby, " wait, are you to... SUNNY!, you owe me 50 bucks!"
" seriously was everyone betting!" I exclaimed giving koby a quick hug
" seems like it!" Jesse laughed, koby chucked him a beer can and a coke to me
" I knew you to would be together soon, it was meant to happen and now I've got 50 bucks more, cheers guys!" koby laughed
" glad to help!" we said taking a mock bow
we stayed with the boys for a while just talking and catching up with everyone, everyone seemed really happy for us apart from sunny who lost out on 50 bucks!. we left after 30 minutes and headed back to the apartment
" well that was easier than expected!" I laughed with Jesse as we drove home " everybody had a hunch we were going to get together!"
" its a good thing they were right" Jesse said putting his hand over mine. we pulled up at the apartment block and climbed out the car, I started to head up to the apartment whilst Jesse had to grab something out the boot. I was walking up the stairs when I heard footsteps, I turned around to see Jesse running after me up the stairs, the one thing I cannot stand is people chasing me, especially up stairs I often ended up sitting down in fear!
" ahhh, noo!" I squealed sitting down on the stairs
" you would be useless in a horror film!" Jesse laughed as he stopped next to me. I couldn't help but laugh at the comment, Jesse helped me up
" don't do that again, I bloody hate being chased!" I said as he kissed the side of my cheek
" I'll give you a head start" he teased
" what, Jesse what are you doing?"
" you need to run, 5, 4 "
" Jesse don't I don't like it!" I said laughing slightly
" 3 , 2"
I began to run slightly but I couldn't do it and I ended up collapsing again in a laughing/ screaming wreck on the floor, Jesse came running up and grabbed me. He started to tickle me on the stairs whilst I just squealed with laughter and tried to push him away
" you should have run!" he joked picking me up and carrying me up the remaining stairs. He put me down to open the door, I walked through and I felt Jesse wrap his arms round my waist and pull me back into his body, I laughed and turned to face him, I felt him lean forward and I kissed him passionately on the lips, I wrapped my arms round the back of his neck and Jesse put his hands on my waist. we paused for breath and I gazed deep into his blue eyes
" your so beautiful" he said to me
" aw stop no I'm not" I said
" believe me Jorja, you are" he leant forward and kissed me again, he lowered his hands to my legs and I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist, he carried me into the bedroom and placed me down on the bed. he hovered over me and kissed my neck before moving further down.
