the wait nearly killed me, I gripped harder on Jesse and mouses hands and held my breath, why wouldn't they just say!
" guilty" the judge said
I felt Jesse and mouse let go of my hand as they celebrated, I felt my head drop into my hands as tears of happiness flowed down my face
" a minimum sentence of 15 years for the rape of Miss Victoria pery and Mrs Rosie lyons. Another 10 years for the attempted murder of Miss Jorja Trini. A total of 25 years eligible for parole after 10. Case dismissed" the judge said bringing down the hammer
I buried my face in my hands as I heard the cheers from all the families around me, tears were flowing, but they were tears of happiness. I lifted my head to see all the boys smiling and man hugging. Jesse turned to me with a huge smile on his face, he threw his arms around me
" its over babe. its done" he whispered in my ear, I pulled back and I kissed him passionately, my hands tangled in his hair. of course maxi had to ruin the moment by coming over and giving us a group hug, which then lead to all the boys wrapping their arms around us. I turned round to Vicky and Rosie and gave them a smile, they to were celebrating. we all looked and watched as mike was lead down the stairs, away from all of us for good.
" f**k that guy, he's gonna rot for what he's done!" koby said as we stood up and walked out the court house. The sun shone down on my face and for the first time since the attack, I felt free, I could let my guard down and I didn't have to fear everything.
Maxi picked me up and twirled me round in the air, I laughed in happiness as he did. He set me back down and we both wobbled against each other. I hugged all the boys again before we walked away from the court house. As we rounded the corner we saw a police van driving away, we knew mike was in that van, heading to prison, where he would spend at least 10 years in hell for what he did.
I felt Jesse squeeze my hand and he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him, I lifted my free hand and flipped the van the finger " f**k you mike carter" I said
the boys all laughed and joined in, we stood there, with our fingers in the air watching as the van drove away. We began to walk back to the apartment as we had walked to the court house. Koby went back to his house as we walked down to the apartment.
we headed up inside and I went and got changed out of the dress. I took of the dress and was standing in my underwear when the door opened and Jesse walked in, he had taken off his tie and undone the top buttons on his shirt, he looked hot!
he walked round the bed to me and started kissing me, he held my waist and pulled me close to him, I tangled my hands in his hair and deepened the kiss. I then heard one of the boys laugh from the living room and I pulled back
" uh uh not now Jess, later" I said walking away from him. He groaned and I laughed at him as I grabbed my bikini and put it on. we were going down to bondi to let the boys know the outcome. I threw on a open cut side vest top and shorts before walking out the bedroom, Jesse was just beginning to get undressed as I left.
I walked into the living room where the boys were and they all stopped and looked at me
" what?" I exclaimed
they just looked at me knowingly " your hairs messed up" maxi said, I suddenly got the idea of what they were talking about
" oh f**k off all of you!" I joked walking into the kitchen blushing. Jesse came out and obviously had the same greeting as I walked back in to find maxi and Jesse play fighting on the floor.
" you ready!" I yelled over the commotion, they both stood up
" yep, lets go!" Maxi said running out the door like a idiot, we all just laughed at him and followed. We jumped in the car, Jesse driving with mouse in the front and me,Gonzo and maxi squashed in the back. Jesse put on the radio and we were greeted with living on a prayer by bon Jovi.
" TOMMY USED TO WORK ON THE DOCKS!" we all burst into song as we drove along. Maxi started filming us for his youtube channel and kept on putting the camera close to our faces as we sung, the whole car journey turned into a sing along and it wouldn't have better any other way!
as we turned into bondi I suddenly had a great idea!
" right guys we'll walk up there really sad looking and depressed so they think he was found not guilty then we can say guilty when they ask, get them worried and stuff like that" I exclaimed
" brill idea, come on lets go" mouse said and we all jumped out the car. We all looked really upset and Jesse wrapped his arm around me and pulled me close to his body, I kept my head down and close to Jesse as we walked down towards the tower. We opened the door and all the boys didn't say anything, the obviously had guessed the outcome from our expressions
" GUILTY!" I yelled before jumping up and punching the air " 25 years, eligible for parole after 10!"
all the boys cheered and gave me hugs before asking endless amounts of questions about the court case. I answered all of them before the focus was put back on the water. I needed to grab something from my locker so I walked over with Maxi who wanted to get out of his suit
" um, I hope you don't mind me asking, but earlier you mentioned about therapy not working for you, what do you mean by that" Maxi asked
I took a deep breath " maxi, I would tell you the full story but I want to get some sleep tonight rather than be plagued by another nightmare, Is it ok if I get Jesse to text you the story rather than me telling you?" I felt like I could trust maxi and he could be sympathetic but I couldn't bring myself to relive the story again
" that's fine, don't worry about it" maxi said putting his arm around me and giving me a squeeze
* few hours later*
" hey babe, could you do me a favour and text Maxi on my phone why therapy has never worked for me?, he was asking earlier and I just said I would text him later"
" sure babe" he said placing his hand on my leg as we drove home
" i went to therapy once after the incident and they made it worse, so It never worked for me" I said quickly explaining before refocusing on a different subject.
we got home and went up to the flat. as Jesse shut the door I felt him clasp my hand and pull me back to him, he kissed me and pressed me up against the wall
" is this later enough for you" he said inbetween kisses. I just laughed and let the feeling of pleasure wash over me.
