The four of you ran into the mansion, you and your friend doing the 'Gasp!' Thing once you walked inside.

"C'mon, the stage is this way! Everyone's waiting for you!" Pit smiled, grabbing onto the both of your hands

"Stage..?" You asked, blinking a few times

"Pit, you have to explain a couple of things for her to understand it. Because basically she thinks your talking about one of those fighting stages." Link explained as he sighed, crossing his arms.

"Oh yeah- it's just a regular old stage, like ones where you'd watch people preform a play on." He explained further

"Oh.. Ok."

Pit continued to drag you towards your destination, pushing you and your friend onto backstage without question.

"Wait, what?"

"Can't talk, we gotta go, bye!" Pit said, abandoning the two of you.

The two of you looked at each other, and then shrugged the whole thing off. You walked a little bit further, until a figure came into view.

"Hello young ladies, I presume you are (N/N) and Rinny-Chan, am I correct?"

The two of you slowly nodded, confused to what was going on.

Master hand chuckled, "ok, good. Wait there please." He ran off to fetch some kind of microphone

"Why are we doing this again..?" You whispered to (BFF/N)

"I have no idea. I mean, what would we even do here anyway?"

"Who knows. " You shrugged, "Maybe to do something of some fighting sort I- I don really know." You moved your hands around a bit

Master hand returned with a microphone, saying hello and saying some things to the crowd. There were some cheers, some of them you actually recognized because they had screamed so loud

*Cough* Pit *Cough*

Master Hand eventually pulled the two of you onstage, wanting you to introduce yourself.

"H-Hi.." You said nervously, looking at the crowd is so many familiar faces that your heart just kept on racing because your physically seeing your favorite fictional characters, "I'm known in the real earthling world as (Y/N) (L/N), but you would more know me as (N/N).. The little person who'd always play as the swordsman. Except for a few exceptions.." You said shyly, the crowd just going wild as you quickly handed the microphone to your friend as you placed your hands on your blushing face, trying to hide away from the embarrassment
Obviously that failed.

"Hello crowd of wonder characters that I loooove!" (BFF/N) smiled brightly as she waved to all of them, some even waving back, "In the Hooman world, I'm known as (BFF/N). But here, I'm Rinny-chan!" She smiled brightly, doing this thing like a pro, "I play as all the female characters!" She handed the mic to master hand

"Yes, I know. Your all super happy that the two best players on this game disc have arrived, and I'm pretty sure that they have no idea what's going on.."

You and your friend looked at each other, confused

"Now, now.. There is this tournament coming up, and I wish for you to win it. You may have not noticed but I have already sent my brother to enter your names into it."

"WHAT!?" You looked at him surprised, (BFF/N) was just standing there smiling like an idiot.

"You heard me, (Y/N)." Master hand looked at you, smiling deviously or something, "The tournament is to be held in approximately 2 months. During that time, the two of you will be spending your time here controlling CPUs as you fight against other players."
