I honestly don't know if this is actually bullying but I'm a 12 year old girl in sixth grade about to go to seventh and it all started a couple months ago and one of my actual best friends told me that her "friend" was talking about people behind their backs even me. She kept on saying that like why am I always angry and that I should take a chill pill. Once I heard this I told my best friend that I'd try to take care of it the next day. Then the next day she was there and since we all shared a table at lunch, that's where it would all happen. My best friend told me what "friend" said and she said something about me again and my temper. I got so mad that I grabbed my spork (fork and a spoon in one) and just scratched the top of my hand. My other friends at the table tried to stop me but I kept on going. It didn't hurt because I was too angry. When I got home I looked at my hand and I still had the scratch marks and I knew my parents were gonna find out. I was right. My mom looked at my hand and asked why I did this and what happened and I told her. Then my dad came home and the three of us talked. My dad said that if she pissed me off one more time, I get the chance to smack her but only if she touches me. I agreed and waited for the next day. It rolled by and so did lunch. I had to sit next to her and "friend" was talking smack about our friends and that's when I just couldn't hold it anymore. We started to argue and curse at each other. She got really pissed and moved to the back of the table and the last thing she shouted at me was "Leave me the fu*k alone!" I yelled back at her "Quit talking about other people behind their backs!". This went on for the whole week when the following Thursday at lunch, one of the 6th grade student councilors came up to us and she wanted to talk to us. She explained that some things never should have been said and that we should talk to her if we ever have a problem like that again. Ever since then we never argued.
