Chapter 67

Tris POV - a few days later....

I feel asleep a few hours ago and wake up to whispering and complaining.

I hear 2 voices that belong to a girl a boy.

I recognize those voices anywhere.

Tobias and Christina.

"That's the worst thing you could do to her right now. Are you kidding me Tobias, to fricking early for 1 and for 2 she barley remembers shit, for all I know she still think your mad at her!" Chris whisper yell to him 

"That's how I want to show her that I'm not! Come in Chris I already got okay's from the whole gang except the girls. I know they will listen to you, just please Chris try. This is super important to me, and quite expensive of you ask me. I mean I paid thousands on the thing! If I get no's from the girls its going to rust by the time you set her free." He says exaggerating the ending

"whatever. Fine I'll try. But your waiting until after the Candor or Daunltess game. Zeke said if Tris is up for it, we're going at it for 2 more days, the breaks not included anymore and no distractions. Probably." She says

Okay so more Candor or Dauntless.

Alright I'm okay with that.

But what arer they talking about?

Why couldn't I have just woken up sooner!

"Alright that's fine. I can't wait. Now go convince the girls! I'm gonna stay in the room with Bea." He says

"Bea?" She asks puzzlingly

"Caleb told me that he used to call her Bea, along with her mom too. So I thought I'd try it out." He says

"No. Just no. Okay that's a family thing." Christina says as I hear the door open up with a small squeak

"But I am her family. And Shauna is too and Caleb isn't anymore so why not?" Tobias argues

"Just no" Christina says as I hear the door close. After a few seconds I hear a sigh and footsteps coming over to my bed. Next thing you know on the right side by my head the bed gets lower, telling me he sat down. He grabs my hand and holds it, hoping I wake up. So I slowly flutter my eyes open trying to make it seem as if I just woke up. He falls for it.

"Morning beautiful. Feeling alright?"

I slowly nod and rub my eye wit my hand and yawn. He smiles at me and yawns too after I do. I smile at him and he returns it. Then he says

"The nurse came in last night and told me that while you were sleeping the medication drained out of the infection so your over, just sensitive, and you have to be careful. And she said some other gross tings about it so I will let her take to you about that" he says like its the grossest thing in the world. I chuckle and he just sits there embarrassed smiling like a goofball. I see something shinny in his hand.

What's that?

He looks at me confused and follows where my eyes are looking at. When he sees me looking at what's in his hand he quickly puts it in his pocket.

"What was that?" I ask

"Nothing. It was nothing." He lie. It was something and I wanna know what!

"Tobias. Tell me." I demand

"Its a gift. I had to go get it for Zeke to give to Shauna. Her birthday is next week." He says

"Oh..." I say. I thought it was something else. I don't know what I thought it was, just something other than a present for my sister that Tobias had to buy for Zeke.

"Speaking of birthdays.... Yours is coming up." He says

"No it isn't Tobias" I say annoyed. I am like the only one who doesn't enjoy my birthday

"Come on in 4 days Tris! 4 days! "  he says all excited. What does he have planned?

"Yeah I'll sadly be getting old." I say

"Hey! I'm 2 years older than you, who you callin' old babe?" He says

"Babe?" I ask. He never calls me babe...

"Sorry.... Trying our new names for you." He says nervously

"No it's okay it's just not babe. I like... Bea... Or... Just Tris. Or Beatrice, but only you and Caleb are aloud to call me that or they get a pillow beating." I say chuckling. He does too. Then after a few seconds of us just smiling at each other he says

"So the nurse told me that when your ready to leave they are gonna check you, make sure your perfectly fine and then you can leave whenever if your okay." He tells me

"So I can go right now." I ask, hoping I can get out of this hell hole of a room. Its quiet boring in here without anyone to keep my company. And Shauna took my phone!

"After noon." He says

I groan. Damn it!

"So Tris do you remember everything?" He asks nervously. Why is he so nervous?

"Yeah. Almost. Just the last few days are fuzzy. I remember everything else though just not about my dad I'm about there in my memory. The doctor said this would probably happen. But I will remember either today or tomorrow. That's what he said yesterday." I tell him

"Great." He says smiling like a goof ball again

"What so funny" I ask wanting to know

"Nothing I'm just excited" he says

"Why?" I ask

"I can finally kiss you later. The doctors said I wasn't allowed to because you didn't remember, you were still shaken up, and if I make a wrong move I might ruin your medicine tube" he says

"Well the tube is gone, I remember, and I'm not all shaken up anymore." I say smiling

He smiles and me and I smile back. He leans in and I lean too and we kiss. Its slow and romantic, full of passion and longing. God have I missed his soft lips....

After about 10 minutes of us making out the nurse comes in. I met her yesterday. Her name is Ms. Nita and Shauna told me she was eyeballing Tobias. I was jealouse and all but I know he is way out of her slutty league.

"Sorry to interrupt" she stars and Tobias and and pull away form out kiss, both of our faces turning a light shade of pink, blushing and embarrassed. She chuckles and says "Ms. Prior and I need to talk about her rules so she heals correctly, and she doesn't seem so sensitive."

Tobias nods and kissing my cheek, let's go of my hand and leaves the room.

After the nurse and I talk she let's me leave. I get dressed and she signs me out for me. She gives me my phone telling me my sister dropped it off when my friends left yesterday. I nod and thank her and leave gladly.

Oh.. My.. God!

Im out of that hell hole!

My infection is gone!

And best of all.... I can be with Tobias again!
